Paolo Banchero finished Saturday’s win over the Heat with 27 points (8-of-14 FGs, 10-of-10 FTs), eight rebounds, seven assists and one three-pointer.

While the defensive production has largely been non-existent, Banchero has been a much-improved option in category leagues since the All-Star break. Averaging 25.5 points, 9.1 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.3 three-pointers while shooting 49.6 percent from the field and 82.1 percent from the foul line, the Magic forward has been a top-25 player since February 19. The Magic play four games in Week 21, starting with the Hawks on Monday.
Desmond Bane

ORL Guard #3

Desmond Bane tallied 21 points (8-of-17 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), four rebounds, four assists, one block and one three-pointer in Saturday’s win over the Heat.

Bane has scored at least 21 points in three straight and four of his last five games, and his scoring output has increased since the All-Star break. After averaging 19.6 points per game before the break, the Magic guard has accounted for 24.7 points per night on 56 percent shooting since February 19. The increased scoring is one reason why Bane has provided first-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats since the break.
Jett Howard

ORL Guard #13

Jett Howard (illness) is out for Saturday’s game against the Heat.

While Howard has not been productive enough to merit rostering in most fantasy leagues, his absence leaves the Magic down another rotation wing. The Magic may have to ask even more of Tristan da Silva, who has performed well as a starter in recent games. Noah Penda may also pick up a few more minutes, but he is not a must-stream player.
Jonathan Isaac

Jonathan Isaac (knee) is out for Saturday’s game against the Heat.

Isaac sprained his left knee during Thursday’s win over the Wizards. A return timeline still has not been provided by the Magic, but he’ll at the very least sit on Saturday. Goga Bitadze and Noah Penda are in line for additional opportunities within the Magic rotation.
Desmond Bane

Desmond Bane amassed 22 points (7-of-14 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), one rebound, six assists, three steals and two three-pointers in Thursday’s win over the Wizards.

For the first time since the end of February, Bane has surpassed 20 points in consecutive games. One night removed from dropping 35 in a win over the Cavaliers, he had another good night shooting-wise, knocking down 50 percent of his attempts. All that Bane’s line lacked was a blocked shot, and he has been a top-10 player in fantasy basketball since the All-Star break. Orlando ends Week 20 with a game against the Heat on Saturday.

Wendell Carter Jr. tallied 19 points (8-of-13 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), 11 rebounds, three assists, two steals, two blocks and two three-pointers in Thursday’s win over the Wizards.

The Magic received double-doubles from two of their starting frontcourt players, Carter and Paolo Banchero (18/11/5). The former produced a complete stat line against the Wizards, with the four defensive contributions being the most in a game for Carter since a January 18 loss to the Grizzlies. Carter’s season-long fantasy value has been solid, but he remains a challenging player to trust fully in 12-team leagues.
Jalen Suggs

ORL Guard #4

Jalen Suggs accounted for 28 points (10-of-17 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), four rebounds, eight assists, two steals and three three-pointers in Thursday’s win over the Wizards.

Suggs finished Thursday’s overtime victory with a season-high point total, with this being his first game with 25 or more since mid-December. Add in the rebounds, assists, steals and three-pointers, and fantasy managers had to be pleased with the Magic guard’s production. Orlando plays once more in Week 20, on Saturday against the Heat.
Tristan da Silva

ORL Forward #23

Tristan da Silva finished Thursday’s win over the Wizards with 26 points (10-of-18 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), seven rebounds, two assists, four steals, two blocks and three three-pointers.

One day removed from scoring a season-high 23 points in a win over the Cavaliers, da Silva was even more productive on Thursday. The second-year forward recorded a career-high point total as part of a loaded stat line. Rostered in 19 percent of Yahoo! leagues, da Silva is worth a look in some 12-team formats while the Magic await the returns of Franz Wagner and Anthony Black.
Jonathan Isaac

ORL Forward #1

Jonathan Isaac (knee) will not return to Thursday’s game against the Wizards.

Isaac played one minute before exiting Thursday’s game with what has been diagnosed as a sprained left knee. His availability does not affect fantasy basketball, but it does free up minutes for Noah Penda and Goga Bitadze. According to the Magic, how much time Isaac misses will depend on his knee’s response to treatment.
Tristan da Silva

ORL Forward #23

Tristan da Silva amassed 23 points (8-of-13 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), four rebounds, three assists, one block and three three-pointers in Wednesday’s win over the Cavaliers.

With Anthony Black joining Franz Wagner on the sidelines due to injury, da Silva returned to the Magic starting lineup on Wednesday. And the second-year forward took advantage of his latest opportunity, putting up 23 points on excellent percentages. Add in the rebounds and assists, and da Silva showed why he’s a must-roster player until Black or Wagner is healthy enough to return.
