Boston, who made a top-30 visit with the 49ers in late March, had 62 receptions for 881 receiving yards (14.2 yards per catch) and was tied for ninth in the FBS with 11 receiving touchdowns in his final collegiate season. Boston would make sense for the wideout-needy Steelers, who recently acquired Michael Pittman Jr. from the Colts. Alongside Pittman and DK Metcalf, Boston would create a big-bodied trio of receivers for Aaron Rodgers, who is expected to return for a second season under center for Pittsburgh. The Steelers hold the 21st pick in the 2026 draft.
  • NYG Defensive Lineman #97
Lawrence on Monday requested a trade and will reportedly sit out the Giants’ offseason workout program after spending most of the past two years trying to work out a new deal with the team. Stapleton said a new contract for the standout defensive tackle could come before the NFL Draft. Lawrence is under contract with New York for the next two seasons. Lawrence is coming off a subpar 2025 campaign in which he had career lows in tackles (31) and sacks (0.5), while making only four tackles in the backfield. Look for multiple teams to express interest in Lawrence if the Giants indicate they are open to trading him away this spring or summer.
  • TB Tackle #67
The veteran swing tackle started nine games for the Vikings in 2025 after spending the previous three seasons in Tampa. He returns to the Buccaneers on a one-year contract to provide depth on the exterior offensive line behind established starters Tristan Wirfs and Luke Goedeke.
  • FA Cornerback #1
Emerson missed all of 2025 due to a torn Achilles, but the 25-year-old corner was a key contributor for the Browns before going down. From 2023 to 2024, Emerson started 27 of 33 games for the Browns, breaking up 19 passes while picking off four, and also tallying 139 tackles over that span. Emerson is a former third-round pick who has played primarily on the outside for his career.
  • CLE Cornerback #27
Bryant started three of the 11 games he appeared in last season for the Texans, totaling 40 tackles and one TFL. The sixth-year corner appeared on 343 defensive snaps for the Texans last season and can also serve as a contributor on special teams. Bryant has started 20 games in his career and spent most of his time lined up at free safety or in the slot, per PFF.
  • DET Cornerback #29
Maddox spent all of last season with the Lions after spending the first seven years of his career in Philly. The veteran safety appeared in 14 games last season, totaling 32 tackles, four pass breakups, and one interception. While he’s played the majority of his career at corner, Maddox saw 248 of his 342 defensive snaps come at free safety last year.
  • ATL Defensive End #27
This does not come as a surprise, as Pearce is currently facing charges for three felonies, including aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, stemming from a February arrest in which he reportedly used his vehicle to collide with another vehicle during a domestic incident with WNBA player Rickea Jackson. The team has remained non-committal about when Pearce could return, but it’s possible they will opt to keep him away from the facilities until this matter is resolved.
  • NYG Center #62
Patrick is an 11-year vet who has started 65 games in his career. He’s a versatile lineman who can play anywhere along the interior and started 25 games with the Bears and Saints from 2023 to 2024. He appeared in just six games for the Bengals last season due to an injury, making one start. Patrick played on just 23 offensive snaps all of last season. His ability to lineup at various positions should make him a solid depth signing for the Giants.
  • NYG Defensive Lineman #97
Lawrence and the Giants have spent the last two offseasons trying to hammer out a deal, but according to Schefter, “there has not been any progress” thus far. Lawrence is a three-time Pro Bowler and two-time Second-team All-Pro who has spent his entire seven-year career with the Giants. Despite playing in all 17 games last season and playing the third-most defensive snaps in his career, he finished with a down year on paper, posting career lows in tackles (31) and sacks (0.5), while making only four tackles in the backfield. Lawrence is under contract for two more seasons, but has no guaranteed money remaining on his deal over that span.
  • NFL Commissioner
In hopes of avoiding replacement refs 2.0, the league will again come to the table with the NFLRA. The league rejected the NFLRA’s latest proposal shortly before last week’s league meetings in Arizona, with reports that a major source of contention stems from the annual salary increase. Per a report from earlier in The Athletic, the league sought to increase the annual salary by 6.45 percent under the next CBA, while NFLRA is eyeing “an annual increase of more than 10 percent.” That’s a massive gap to close in such a short time, but we’ll see if this latest return to discussions results in a deal in the days/weeks ahead.
