76ers to guarantee Adem Bona’s contract for the 2026-27 season.

The 76ers had until Monday to waive Bona without incurring any financial penalty, but they have reportedly decided to hold on to the former second-round pick. As a result, he’s guaranteed to make a shade under $2.3 million next season. In his second NBA season, Bona averaged 4.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 17.4 minutes per game. He’ll combine with offseason signing Ariel Hukporti to provide depth behind Joel Embiid, which makes both players non-factors in fantasy basketball.

Ja’Kobi Gillespie recorded 19 points (7-of-14 FGs), one rebound, six assists, two steals and five three-pointers in Monday’s loss to the Lakers.

The combination of his two-way contract and the Spurs being loaded on the perimeter makes it challenging for Gillespie to achieve fantasy relevance during his rookie season. However, he shot the ball quite well on Monday, making five of his nine three-point attempts. Gillespie also dished out six assists while committing two turnovers in what was an excellent conclusion to his California Classic. He’ll look to do more of the same in Las Vegas at the end of the week.

Tarris Reed Jr. accumulated 12 points (6-of-9 FGs, 0-of-1 FTs), 12 rebounds, one assist and one blocked shot in Monday’s loss to the Lakers.

A starter in both games he played at the California Classic, Reed recorded a double-double in Monday’s 88-84 defeat. And with fellow first-round pick Jayden Quaintance yet to play after revealing during his introductory press conference that he may need another procedure on his knee, the rookie out of UConn may be better equipped to compete for rotation minutes immediately. The Spurs won’t need Reed to be a prolific scorer, but his rebounding and defensive ability should give him an opportunity to contribute as a rookie.

Chris Mañon finished Monday’s win over the Spurs with 24 points (7-of-10 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs), eight rebounds, two assists, two steals, three blocks and two three-pointers.

With first-round pick Cameron Carr (five points, one rebound, one assist, one steal and one block) playing just 13 minutes in the Lakers’ final game of the California Classic, Mañon was the team’s best scoring option on Monday. And the two-way contract wing made the most of his opportunity, shooting 70 percent from the field and recording a complete stat line. Given his contract status, Mañon is unlikely to get the opportunities needed to make an impact in fantasy basketball next season. However, his first step is to surpass the nine NBA appearances he made during his rookie season.

Bennett Stirtz notched nine points (4-of-14 FGs), two rebounds, three assists and one three-pointer in Monday’s loss to the Hawks.

After attempting six shots in his first summer appearance with the Thunder, Stirtz was more aggressive on Monday. Unfortunately, he shot 1-of-7 from beyond the arc in a rather forgettable effort. His chances of offering any fantasy value next season depend on injuries to Thunder guards ahead of him in the rotation. If Nikola Topić continues to struggle with health issues, that may be where Stirtz’s minutes come from during his rookie campaign.

Aday Mara finished Monday’s loss to the Hawks with 10 points (3-of-9 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), nine rebounds, one assist and four blocked shots.

Mara didn’t have an efficient offensive game, shooting 33.3 percent from the field and committing five turnovers. However, he was active on the boards and did an excellent job of blocking shots. During the first half, the Hawks appeared hesitant to attack the basket, with Mara altering a few shots he failed to block. With Chet Holmgren, Isaiah Hartenstein and Jaylin Williams all in the Thunder frontcourt rotation, Mara’s role is likely to be limited next season. However, he’ll be a valuable player to roster in dynasty leagues, especially as Oklahoma City’s roster gets more expensive.

Payton Sandfort shot 6-of-10 from the floor and 4-of-4 from the foul line in Monday’s loss to the Hawks, tallying 25 points, four rebounds, two assists and four three-pointers.

After spending last season with the Thunder on a two-way contract, Sandfort was waived just before the start of the Utah Classic. Oklahoma City has since filled all three of its two-way slots, but Sandfort can certainly use this time to audition for the 29 other teams. He shot the ball extremely well on Monday, going 4-of-6 from deep, rebounding from a 4-of-12 showing in Saturday’s blowout loss to the Grizzlies.

Asa Newell produced 13 points (5-of-8 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer in Monday’s win over the Thunder.

After a solid showing in Saturday’s summer opener, Newell shot the ball better on Monday. His improved efficiency in that area is encouraging for the Hawks, who rarely called Newell’s number during his rookie season. That said, rebounding and defense will likely need to be his calling cards if he’s to crack Quin Snyder’s rotation once the regular season begins.

Kingston Flemings finished Monday’s win over the Thunder with 12 points (4-of-10 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), two rebounds, five assists, one steal and three blocked shots.

After struggling with his shot in his summer debut on Saturday, Flemings cleaned some things up on Monday. However, where he once again stood out was as a playmaker and defender. Flemings recorded five more assists while committing just one turnover, and his four “stocks” included three blocked shots. While he’s likely to come off the bench as a rookie, Flemings has shown early on that he may offer value in deeper redraft leagues to managers specifically seeking assists and defensive stats.

Zuby Ejiofor recorded 19 points (5-of-13 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), 15 rebounds, three assists, one block and three three-pointers in Monday’s win over the Thunder.

After starting slowly, due mainly to Oklahoma City’s Aday Mara, Ejiofor looked far more comfortable offensively in the second half. Excellent on the glass throughout, he made his final three shots after starting 2-of-10 from the field. Eight of Ejiofor’s field-goal attempts came from beyond the arc, a major departure from what he was asked to do at the college level. Due to Atlanta’s need for interior depth, he’ll be in the mix for rotation minutes when training camp begins. That won’t mean much in redraft leagues, but Ejiofor will be a solid option to have rostered in dynasty leagues.

Ace Bailey (back) will not play in Monday’s game against the Grizzlies.

Bailey exited Saturday’s exhibition against the Hawks with back spasms and will not play in Monday’s game as a result. He’ll miss out on an opportunity to establish greater chemistry with lottery pick Darryn Peterson. Still, the hope is that Bailey will be available for Utah’s summer league games in Las Vegas.
