Tyrese Haliburton had 23 points (8-of-15 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), two rebounds, 12 assists, one steal and two three-pointers in the Pacers’ 123-120 victory over the Pelicans on Wednesday.

Haliburton was overcome with emotion in the postgame interview after he had 23 points and the Pacers won the first game he’s played since he suffered a torn Achilles in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals. It was certainly a meaningful milestone for the 26-year-old point guard, who was also diagnosed with shingles while recovering from his torn Achilles. Haliburton was sharp in the preseason and in the regular season opener he looked ready to deliver first-round fantasy value once again.

De’Anthony Melton finished Saturday’s loss to the Suns with 25 points (8-of-13 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), five rebounds, five assists, three steals and four three-pointers.

Melton didn’t start Saturday’s game, but Stephen Curry’s and Brandin Podziemski’s absences gave him more opportunities. Melton took advantage, scoring 25 points, the most he’s scored in a game since 27 against the Wizards on March 16. Add in the rebounds, assists and steals, and Saturday night was a good one for fantasy managers who slotted Melton into their lineups.

Brandon Williams tallied 20 points (5-of-10 FGs, 8-of-11 FTs), three rebounds, five assists, two steals and two three-pointers in Saturday’s loss to the Suns.

With Stephen Curry and Brandin Podziemski sitting out the second game of Golden State’s back-to-back, Williams and Will Richard (11 points, one assist, two steals, one block and three three-pointers) were inserted into the starting lineup on Saturday. After shooting 4-of-17 in Golden State’s first two games, Williams was much more efficient against the Suns. His fantasy value will depend on the schedule going forward, and the Warriors end their four-game Week 2 with another back-to-back.

Yaxel Lendeborg amassed 26 points (9-of-19 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), nine rebounds, five assists, one block and six three-pointers in Saturday’s loss to the Suns.

In the first week of the 2026-27 season, Lendeborg has been among the NBA’s most productive rookies. After recording his first double-double in Friday’s loss to the Grizzlies, the Warriors forward notched his first 20-point game on Saturday. Lendeborg shot 6-of-11 from three, and his 19 shot attempts were the most on the team. Golden State didn’t have Stephen Curry, Draymond Green or Brandin Podziemski on Saturday, which opened things up for Lendeborg. However, the first two games showed that he’ll have a prominent role even when those key veterans are available.

Luke Kennard produced 11 points (4-of-6 FGs), four rebounds, one assist, one steal and three three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the Warriors.

Kennard made his Suns debut on Saturday after sitting out Wednesday’s loss to the Trail Blazers, providing welcome three-point production. He shot 3-of-5 from beyond the arc against the Warriors, and his final stat line lacked only a blocked shot. Kennard can help managers who need points and three-pointers, but not while the Suns are on a light schedule. Phoenix plays two games in Week 2, so adding Kennard offers little upside.

Collin Gillespie finished Saturday’s win over the Warriors with 11 points (4-of-7 FGs, 1-of-3 FTs), four rebounds, nine assists, two steals and two three-pointers.

After a brutal shooting night in Wednesday’s loss to the Trail Blazers, going 0-of-8 from the field and failing to score, Gillespie got back on track Saturday night. He scored 11 points and recorded a team-high nine assists. Over two games, Gillespie has also recorded six steals. The negative for fantasy managers is the Suns’ schedule. After playing two games in Week 1, they’re the only NBA team that will play two games in Week 2. That takes some of the luster off of Gillespie in fantasy leagues.

Khaman Maluach amassed nine points (2-of-3 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), nine rebounds, three assists, one steal, two blocks and one three-pointer in Saturday’s win over the Warriors.

With Oso Ighodaro (oblique) sidelined, Maluach did not have to worry about a timeshare at center. He logged 28 minutes against the Warriors, recording a complete stat line and finishing one point and one rebound shy of a double-double. If the Suns had a good schedule, Ighodaro’s injury would make Maluach a more popular fantasy player. However, they have another two-game week in Week 2, so adding Maluach in 12-team leagues offers little upside.

Miles Bridges recorded 16 points (6-of-11 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists, one steal and two three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the Warriors.

Bridges doubled his point total in the Suns’ season-opening loss in Portland, while also adding solid rebounding and assisting. Bridges may not be the most prolific fantasy option, but as in Charlotte, he’s well-positioned to deliver top-100 value in category leagues. Unfortunately, the Suns only play two games in Week 2, starting with the Thunder on Monday.

Devin Booker accounted for 43 points (17-of-25 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs), seven rebounds, seven assists, one block and two three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the Warriors.

After scoring 23 points in the Suns’ season-opening loss to the Trail Blazers, Booker nearly doubled that output on Saturday. The Suns’ star guard shot 68 percent from the field and added strong rebounding and assist numbers. With the Suns playing just two games in Week 1, fantasy managers rostering Booker needed a night like this. The Suns have another bad schedule in Week 2, with only two games.

Gui Santos (leg) finished Saturday’s loss to the Suns with seven points (1-of-4 FGs, 4-of-8 FTs), four rebounds, three assists and one three-pointer.

Starting for Draymond Green, Santos played 23 minutes on Saturday. Unfortunately, an apparent left leg injury ended his night late in the third quarter. With the Warriors playing four games in Week 2, including a back-to-back, Santos could get another spot start, but only if he’s healthy. Keep an eye out for the injury report ahead of Monday’s game against the Nuggets.

Trevon Brazile provided a boost off the bench with 17 points (6-of-101FGs), nine rebounds, one steal, two blocks and three three-pointers against the Pelicans on Saturday.

With Cameron Johnson (ankle) sidelined, Bryce Hopkins got the starting nod in his place. However, he only played 19 minutes to Brazile’s 28, which led all reserves. Brazile wasn’t able to get much offense going in his debut, but he was able to knock down some big shots in this game, which included seven of Denver’s 15 points in overtime. The second-round pick is quickly looking like one of the better value picks from the summer, and he should be an important piece for Denver this season, though fantasy managers should exercise caution before adding the rookie. This level of production may not continue consistently. However, he absolutely deserves praise for his immediate production.
