Karim López (knee) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Kings.

Absent from the Grizzlies’ initial injury report, López’s name was added due to a right knee bone bruise. The first-round pick from Mexico has yet to make his NBA debut, and that may not change in Sacramento. His status does not affect fantasy basketball.
Can Bam and Giannis get the Heat back on track?
The Dan Le Batard Show talks about the Miami Heat's disappointing start to the season and whether Bam Adebayo and Giannis Antetokounmpo can lift the Heat out of this early funk.

López will be available to make his NBA debut on Monday. However, he isn’t guaranteed rotation minutes, so you don’t need to roster him in redraft leagues.

Lopez missed Sunday’s game against the Kings and is seemingly on the wrong side of questionable for Monday’s tilt with the Jazz. His likely absence won’t impact fantasy basketball, however.

Added to the Grizzlies’ injury report on Sunday afternoon, López will miss his NBA debut with a knee injury. His absence won’t affect fantasy basketball, as the rookie isn’t in the Grizzlies’ current rotation.

The 6-foot-8 Lopez, who recorded solid numbers for the New Zealand Breakers last season, is the first native of Mexico to become a first-round pick in NBA Draft history. Last season, the 19-year-old averaged 11.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocks per game, and he was most effective offensively from 15 feet and in. However, Lopez has the potential to expand his offensive game and the size and athleticism to be a factor defensively. Memphis traded down twice from pick 16 but was still able to add a talented piece in López. He’ll provide value on both ends of the floor and should fit well next to Cameron Boozer, who the Grizzlies added with the 3rd pick.

Kyshawn George lit up the Hornets with 20 points (8-of-14 FGs), four rebounds, two assists, one block and two three-pointers on Monday.

George came alive late for Washington and ended up scoring at least 20 points for a second straight game. He was limited by foul trouble, but he was able to step up late, which included scoring 11 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter on 5-of-6 FGs. George has seen his offensive role expand with AJ Dybantsa (ankle) still yet to make his debut. George will likely see fewer shots whenever that happens, though he should still be able to impact the game in other ways.

Trae Young recorded a double-double on Monday with 22 points (10-of-20 FGs), six rebounds, 10 assists and one three-pointer against the Hornets.

The NBA’s assist leader failed to record a double-double for the first time this season on Saturday, but he was able to get back on track in this one. He has also scored at least 20 points in every game this season, and he only needed one free throw to do get there in this game after averaging 11.7 attempts through their first three games. He should get back to that free throw rate moving forward, with the Cavaliers up next on the schedule on Wednesday.

Alex Sarr finished with 12 points (4-of-6 FGs), six rebounds, one assist and two blocks against the Hornets on Monday.

It has been a rough start to the season for Sarr, but he has progressed as a scorer every game. However, that isn’t saying much. He was held to single-digit scoring in each of his first two games and only had 10 points in the game before this one. He has five blocks over their last two games, which is really the only positive aspect of his season. He has only played 24.4 minutes per game, which could be correlated to his offseason foot injury. That’s just speculation, though it would help justify his limited role to start the year.

Alex Caruso (ankle) will not return Monday vs. Suns.

Caruso went to the locker room with an apparent ankle injury after Dillon Brooks accidentally fell on him. The Thunder are already dealing with injuries in the guard position, so it’s worth monitoring over the next few days.

Stephen Curry, Brandin Podziemski, Yaxel Lendeborg, Gui Santos and Draymond Green will start Monday’s game against the Nuggets.

Curry, Podziemski and Green are back after sitting out Saturday’s loss to the Suns. The latter will start at center, which means Santos remains in the starting lineup. Brandon Williams, Will Richard and Graham Ike head to the bench.

Anthony Davis led the Wizards with 29 points (11-of-22 FGs), 10 rebounds, one steal and three three-pointers in a 110-103 loss to the Hornets on Monday.

After two quiet games in a row, AD was finally back to producing how he did in the season opener. He had a total of 28 points across their last two games without recording a double-double in either. It wasn’t enough to get Washington a third win, but it was good to see AD get back to dominating. He’ll look to keep this going in Cleveland on Wednesday.

Sergio de Larrea (knee) has been ruled out for the rest of Monday’s game against the Heat.

Dallas originally reported that de Larrea was doubtful to return, and now they’ve made it official. Marcus Sasser should be in line for a few extra minutes and could maintain the backup point guard role if de Larrea remains out beyond the rest of this game.

Cameron Johnson (ankle) has been ruled out against the Warriors on Monday.

Johnson was initially listed as doubtful, so his official absence isn’t surprising. Bryce Hopkins will likely get another start, though he only played 19 minutes and was relatively ineffective. Trevon Brazile saw more minutes and should be a better streaming choice for fantasy managers.

Sergio de Larrea (knee) is doubtful to return to Monday’s game against the Heat.

De Larrea suffered a strained right knee early in the second quarter of Monday’s game. If he can’t return, Marcus Sasser may replace the rookie in the Mavericks’ rotation.

Charles Bassey (knee) is available to play against the Nuggets on Monday.

Bassey was initially listed as probable, and he has now been cleared to suit up in this game. He played 13 minutes off the bench on Saturday and may see a similar role in this game, though the return of Draymond Green and Al Horford could diminish his minutes.
