Jabari Smith Jr. recorded a double-double on Monday with 16 points (6-of-13 FGs), 12 rebounds, five assists, one steal, one block and two three-pointers against the Hawks.
Smith has gotten off to a strong start to the year, headlined by a 30-point performance in the season opener. This was his first double-double of the year and a new season high for assists for Smith, and he only has one subpar outing this season, which came against the Spurs. He was held to seven points, though he only took five shots and added two steals and two blocks. Smith has been fantastic this year, which has been a big reason for Houston’s early success.
