Alan Anderson won’t need surgery to correct a hyperextended left shoulder.
He missed the last game of the season and there was concern that surgery was needed, but it looks like he’s healing naturally.
  • SAS Forward #30

Julian Champagnie and Victor Wembanyama will move into the starting lineup for Saturday’s game against the Jazz.
The Spurs will be without De’Aaron Fox for Saturday’s game due to left adductor tightness. His absence means that Stephon Castle and Devin Vassell will shift up a position, with Champagnie moving into the starting lineup. Completing the quintet are Harrison Barnes and Victor Wembanyama. Wemby’s move into the lineup pushes Luke Kornet to the bench.
HLs: Lopez sinks career-high nine 3-pointers
Brook Lopez joined Steph Curry and LeBron James as just the third player to make nine 3-pointers in a game after turning 37 in a Clippers win that saw Lopez, Kawhi Leonard and James Harden combine for 93 points.
  • HOU Center #12
Steven Adams will be in the starting lineup for Saturday’s game against the Cavaliers.
The Rockets won’t have Alperen Şengün for Saturday’s game, as he has been ruled out with left calf tightness. As a result, Adams will move into the starting lineup, where he can provide streaming value for those needing rebounds and blocks. Also, Clint Capela should play rotation minutes off the bench. Amen Thompson, Kevin Durant, Tari Eason and Jabari Smith Jr. complete the starting five.
  • CHI Guard #3
Josh Giddey (ankle) is available for Saturday’s game against the Bucks.
Giddey was initially questionable with a sprained left ankle. He will fill his usual role within the Bulls’ starting lineup and can be a triple-double threat on most nights.
  • MIA Center #7
Kel’el Ware (quad) is available for Saturday’s game against the Pacers.
Added to the Heat injury report because of a right quad contusion, Ware has been upgraded from probable to available. He’ll take on his role as the starting center, continuing to serve as the lone post player while Bam Adebayo remains out with a back injury.
  • ATL Guard #11
Trae Young (quad) is available for Saturday’s game against the Knicks.
Despite a right quad contusion and Saturday’s game being the second in as many nights for the Hawks, Young will be in the starting lineup. Nickeil Alexander-Walker will miss out on a move into the starting five, but he plays enough to merit being rostered in 12-team leagues.
  • NYK Guard #2
Miles McBride (ankle) is out for Saturday’s game against the Hawks.
Initially questionable for Saturday’s game, McBride has not played since December 7. With Josh Hart also out, the Knicks will rely even more on Tyler Kolek and Jordan Clarkson, with Mohamed Diawara possibly picking up a few rotation minutes.
  • PHI Forward-Guard #9
Kelly Oubre (knee) is out for Sunday’s game against the Thunder.
Oubre, who last played on November 14, has not reached the point where he can play in games. Quentin Grimes and Jared McCain will continue to provide reliable minutes on the wings, while Dominick Barlow remains in the starting lineup.
  • PHI Forward #8
Paul George (knee) is probable for Sunday’s game against the Thunder.
While the 76ers are still taking steps to manage George’s left knee properly, he’s on track to play on Sunday against the Thunder. If, for some reason, he cannot play, Quentin Grimes is the most likely replacement in the starting lineup.
  • MIN Guard #4
Rob Dillingham (illness) is available for Saturday’s game against the Nets.
Dillingham is good to go after initially being questionable. However, so are Anthony Edwards and Mike Conley, so the second-year guard is unlikely to get the minutes needed to affect fantasy basketball.
  • PHI Center-Forward #21
Joel Embiid (ankle, knee) is out for Sunday’s game against the Thunder.
In addition to right knee injury management, Embiid will miss Sunday’s game due to a sprained right ankle. His absence once again opens up a spot in the starting lineup for Andre Drummond, who should be rostered whenever the 76ers are without their starting center.
