Nolan Traoré accounted for 21 points (7-of-13 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), three rebounds, eight assists and three three-pointers in Thursday’s loss to the Magic.
For the second time this season, Traoré scored 21 points in a game. However, the assists and assist-to-turnover ratio are of greater importance to the Nets when evaluating the rookie guard. Traoré committed four turnovers on the night, which is no small feat when considering the defensive abilities of Orlando’s Jalen Suggs and Anthony Black. With the Nets headed back to the draft lottery, Traoré should play plenty for the rest of the season. While not a must-add, his name is one to keep in mind for the post-All-Star break portion of the schedule.
