The Pistons have traded Arron Afflalo, Walter Sharpe and cash to the Nuggets for a future second-round pick, according to Yahoo! Sports.
Detroit clears another $1.8 million in cap space, while Denver can use Afflalo to fill the void created by the departure of Dahntay Jones (and possibly Linas Kleiza). Neither Afflalo nor Sharpe is likely to help fantasy owners next season.

Terrence Shannon Jr. (foot) has been ruled out for the remainder of Thursday’s game against the Nuggets.
Shannon was ruled out a few minutes into the fourth quarter, so he likely wouldn’t have seen the floor for the remainder of the game regardless. If he misses time beyond the end of this game, Bones Hyland and Jaylen Clark should take on a few extra minutes.
    Highlights: Brunson leads Knicks' comeback
Lead by Jalen Brunson, the New York Knicks had a strong fourth quarter for a "Christmas comeback" against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
  • LAL Guard #15
Dan Woike of The Athletic reports that Austin Reaves (calf) will undergo an MRI on Friday.
Reaves, who missed three games with a mild left calf strain, played 15 first-half minutes on Thursday before being ruled out at halftime. The Lakers announced that he would miss the remainder of the game with a sore left calf. More will be learned about the severity of the injury on Friday, with Marcus Smart likely returning to the starting lineup if Reaves has to miss time.
  • LAL Forward #28
Rui Hachimura (groin) finished Thursday’s loss to the Rockets with zero points (0-of-6 FGs), two rebounds, two assists and one steal.
Back in the Lakers’ lineup after missing two games with a groin injury, Hachimura offered little value in his 28 minutes. In addition to missing all six of his shot attempts, the Lakers forward only grabbed two rebounds. That equalled the tally of Deandre Ayton, who supplemented his two boards with 10 points on 5-of-6 shooting. The Lakers are off until Sunday; hopefully, that’s enough time for Hachimura to shake off the rust after a poor showing on Christmas Day.
  • LAL Forward #23
LeBron James recorded 18 points (7-of-13 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), two rebounds, five assists, two steals, one block and one three-pointer in Thursday’s loss to the Rockets.
While James shot the ball reasonably well and recorded a complete stat line, the numbers felt a bit underwhelming, given how the game went. Including James, Luka Dončić was the lone Lakers starter to grab more than two rebounds as Houston dominated the boards. LeBron and the Lakers will look to end Week 10 on a high note when they host the Kings on Sunday.
  • LAL Forward-Guard #77
Luka Dončić (leg) accumulated 25 points (9-of-17 FGs, 4-of-7 FTs), five rebounds, seven assists, one steal, two blocks and three three-pointers in Thursday’s loss to the Rockets.
Dončić played 34 minutes in his return from a leg contusion that kept him out of Tuesday’s loss to the Suns. Interestingly, the Lakers guard did not look entirely comfortable on his leg during the fourth quarter, but he was out there until about three minutes remaining. The Lakers don’t play again until Sunday, and they can ill afford to lose Dončić with Austin Reaves possibly aggravating his calf injury during the first half of Thursday’s defeat.
  • HOU Forward #17
Tari Eason tallied 13 points (6-of-14 FGs, 0-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, two assists, four steals, two blocks and one three-pointer in Thursday’s win over the Lakers.
In his third game back from an oblique injury that sidelined him for over a month, Eason made his second start of the season. While the three-pointers weren’t falling, with the Rockets’ forward shooting 1-of-5, he did a little bit of everything else. Eason’s six defensive contributions were a season-high, and it’s something that he’s capable of doing consistently. Even if this start was a one-time deal, now is a good time to add Eason if he’s available in your league.
  • HOU Center #28
Alperen Şengün accounted for 14 points (5-of-7 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), 12 rebounds, four assists and one steal in Thursday’s win over the Lakers.
Şengün only attempted seven shots on Thursday, the fewest in a game for him this season. However, the Rockets center did record his 16th double-double of the season. Şengün has provided second-round value in eight-cat formats, which aligns with his Yahoo! ADP (19). The sore spot for fantasy managers has been turnovers, with Şengün committing six on Thursday. If he can clean up that area, his nine-cat value will improve.
  • HOU Guard-Forward #1
Amen Thompson amassed 26 points (12-of-19 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), seven rebounds, five assists and one steal in Thursday’s win over the Lakers.
Playing on Christmas Day for the first time in his NBA career, Thompson was outstanding against the Lakers. All that was lacking from his stat line was a blocked shot and a three-pointer, but the third-year wing provided excellent value in the other fantasy categories. After a relatively slow start to the season, Thompson has been a fourth-round player in eight- and nine-cat formats over the last two weeks.
  • HOU Forward #7
Kevin Durant finished Thursday’s win over the Lakers with 25 points (8-of-14 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), four rebounds, nine assists, one steal, two blocks and four three-pointers.
After a disappointing effort in Tuesday’s loss to the Clippers, Durant and the Rockets took care of business against the Lakers. He’s scored at least 25 points in four of his last six games, and according to Basketball Monster, KD is ranked second in eight- and nine-cat formats over the previous two weeks. The Rockets end Week 10 at home on Saturday against the Cavaliers.
  • DEN Guard-Forward #10
Jamal Murray, Tim Hardaway Jr., Peyton Watson, Spencer Jones and Nikola Jokić will start Thursday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Thursday’s game is the first for Denver since losing Cameron Johnson to a right knee injury during Tuesday’s loss to the Mavericks. He’ll be replaced in the lineup by Hardaway, whose fantasy ceiling is raised with the move into the starting lineup.
