Bradley Beal aggravated his leg injury and the Wizards are concerned he will miss “extended time,” according to Bill Simmons of ESPN.com.
There is no word on the extent of the injury and if he re-fractured his fibula from last year. He’s played 41.8 minutes per game over his last five and has been launching shots at a 21.2 attempts-per-game clip over that span. All owners can do is grab Martell Webster in all leagues and hope Beal is just day-to-day. Garrett Temple and Glen Rice Jr. will also be in the mix.

Victor Wembanyama had 25 points (7-of-13 FGs, 11-of-15 FTs), eight rebounds, two assists, four steals and five blocks in the Spurs’ 112-103 victory over the Magic on Sunday.
HLs: Allen scores career-high 40 points vs. POR
Jarrett Allen dominates the Trail Blazers with a monster 40-point, 17-rebound, 4-block effort to help the Cavaliers get a road win.
  • DEN Guard #8
Peyton Watson finished Sunday’s loss to the Thunder with 29 points (11-of-17 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and five three-pointers.
  • DEN Guard #27
Jamal Murray amassed Sunday’s loss to the Thunder with 12 points (4-of-16 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, 12 assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer.
  • DEN Center #15
Nikola Jokić recorded 16 points (6-of-9 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), seven rebounds, eight assists, one steal and one three-pointer in Sunday’s loss to the Thunder.
  • OKC Guard #21
Aaron Wgggins tallied 14 points (5-of-9 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, two steals, one block and three three-pointers in Sunday’s win over the Nuggets.
  • OKC Guard #22
Cason Wallace amassed 27 points (9-of-14 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), six rebounds, two steals and seven three-pointers in Sunday’s win over the Nuggets.
  • Shai Gilgeous-Alexander accounted for 34 points (11-of-16 FGs, 11-of-13 FTs), five rebounds, 13 assists, two steals, one block and one three-pointer in Sunday’s win over the Nuggets.
Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder grabbed control of Sunday’s game during the third quarter, as the team made eight of its 11 three-point attempts. While the reigning MVP only made one of the eight triples, he assisted on three others. SGA has now scored at least 20 points in 120 consecutive games, six shy of Wilt Chamberlain’s record. And with the Thunder playing three games during Week 16 and three more before the All-Star break, Gilgeous-Alexander can pull even with the all-time great before heading to Los Angeles.
  • CLE Guard #45
Donovan Mitchell had 14 points (6-of-15 FGs), nine assists, two steals, one block and two three-pointers in Sunday’s win over the Trail Blazers.
With Darius Garland (toe) out again, Mitchell had nine assists in the playmaker role. With Evan Mobley (calf) out as well, center Jarrett Allen had a 40-point game. This is how Mitchell, who is averaging 29.1 points per game, ended up with less than 20 points for the second game in a row. He’s provided fifth-round per game value over the last two weeks. The Cavaliers only have two games upcoming in Week 16, starting with a matchup against the Clippers on Wednesday.
  • CLE Guard #5
Sam Merrill had 22 points (7-of-9 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), two rebounds, four assists and six three-pointers in Sunday’s win over the Trail Blazers.
Merrill has now had four games with six made three-pointers this season. With De’Andre Hunter traded to the Kings, it’s reasonable to think the Cavaliers could lean on Merrill more for his outside shooting. Without contributing in other categories, though, makes him difficult to even consider outside of deeper formats.
  • CLE Center #31
Jarrett Allen had 40 points (16-of-23 FGs, 8-of-12 FTs), 17 rebounds, five assists, two steals and four blocks in the Cavaliers’ 130-111 victory over the Trail Blazers on Sunday.
Allen became one of five players in league history, joining Joel Embiid, Shaquille O’Neal, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Joe Barry Carroll, with 40 points, 17 rebounds, five assists, two steals and four blocks or better in a game. It was an absolutely dominating performance from the 27-year-old center, who carried the Cavaliers to victory with Evan Mobley (calf) still sidelined. There was no better way for Allen to close out Week 15 for his fantasy managers.
