    Jazz sign G Patrick Christopher.
He was with the Grizzlies over the summer and didn’t make the team. Christopher is likely headed to the D-League.

Ty Jerome (thigh) is out for Friday’s game against the Mavericks.
Jerome was initially doubtful for Friday’s game, so the downgrade in status is unsurprising. His absence opens up a spot in the starting lineup, with Scotty Pippen Jr., Cam Spencer and Walter Clayton Jr. being potential replacements. Also, Javon Small started Wednesday’s loss to the Warriors alongside Jerome.
Was Harden 'big-time acquisition' for Cavaliers?
The Dan Le Batard Show crew debates if the James Harden experiment will work in Cleveland, outlining how Harden can lead the Cavaliers to the NBA Finals and explaining why "this is crazy enough that it just might work."
  • UTA Guard #3
Keyonte George (ankle) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Pelicans.
George has missed Utah’s last six games with a sprained ankle, and he was questionable for Thursday’s loss to the Pelicans before being ruled out. The best course of action for fantasy managers is to roster Isaiah Collier, even for nights when George is allowed to play.
  • NOP Center #21
Yves Missi (calf) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Jazz.
Missi has not appeared in a game since February 9, with the second-year center being sidelined by a strained left calf. If he can play on Saturday, that could result in fewer minutes for DeAndre Jordan, but Missi is likely to be under a minutes restriction.
  • NOP Guard #5
Dejounte Murray (Achilles) is out for Saturday’s game against the Jazz.
After making his first two appearances of the season as a starter, Murray will miss Saturday’s game for injury management reasons. Derik Queen was the starter in the games before Murray’s return, but his struggles may prompt interim head coach James Borrego to move Jeremiah Fears into the lineup instead.
  • NOP Forward #25
Trey Murphy (shoulder) is out for Saturday’s game against the Jazz.
Saturday’s game will be the fifth that Murphy has missed with a right shoulder contusion. With Dejounte Murray also out, for injury management reasons, it’s possible that Derik Queen returns to the starting lineup. However, fellow rookie Jeremiah Fears is another option for the Pelicans if they prefer to start a point guard.
  • DAL Guard #31
Klay Thompson (rest) is out for Friday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Thompson joins the long list of Mavericks rotation players who won’t be available for Friday’s game. His absence does not significantly affect fantasy basketball, but it likely opens up rotation minutes for rookie Miles Kelly.
  • DAL Forward #25
P.J. Washington (ankle) is out for Friday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Washington is officially out after the Mavericks announced earlier Friday that he was doubtful to play. With Caleb Martin (back) also out, this may be a spot where Brandon Williams makes a spot start. However, that isn’t guaranteed, and he has not been the most consistent fantasy option this season.
  • DAL Forward #16
Caleb Martin (back) is out for Friday’s game against the Grizzlies.
The writing was on the wall when Martin was downgraded to doubtful earlier Friday evening. With Klay Thompson also out, the Mavericks have made two-way contract wing Miles Kelly active for the matchup with Memphis. As for fantasy value, Naji Marshall and Khris Middleton receive boosts due to Dallas’ depleted roster.
  • IND Guard #29
ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that the Pacers have signed Quenton Jackson to a three-year deal.
After spending the last three seasons on two-way contracts, Jackson has been rewarded with a standard deal. In the short term, Friday’s development ensures that he’ll be active for the remainder of the 2025-26 season. If the Pacers were to shut down Andrew Nembhard or T.J. McConnell, Jackson is one of the guards with “silly season standout” potential. He isn’t a must-add player currently, but fantasy managers in 14-team leagues should keep an eye on Jackson.
  • Dennis Schröder (ankle) is available for Friday’s game against the Pistons.
Schröder will make a second consecutive start, as the Cavaliers remain without James Harden (thumb). Given how shorthanded the Cavaliers are on the perimeter right now, the veteran point guard is a must-stream player in 12-team leagues.
