Making the first start of his NBA career, Alen Smailagic played eight minutes and finished with three points (1-of-5 FGs) and one 3-pointer in Saturday’s loss to the Grizzlies.
With Kevon Looney (health and safety protocols) ruled out, Smailagic was tabbed to make his third appearance of the season (and first career start). While he got off to a good start, making his first shot attempt, it all went downhill from there for the second-year forward. Smailagic was whistled for three fouls in the first five minutes of the game, and he played just three minutes in the third before heading to the bench with five fouls. The absences of Looney, James Wiseman and Eric Paschall may open the door for Smailagic to make another start, but he isn’t worth picking up regardless of league format. Golden State plays three games next week, starting with Tuesday’s matchup with the 76ers.

Jalen Suggs had 20 points, (7-of-11 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, six assists, one steal and four three-pointers in Tuesday’s loss to the Thunder.
Suggs was the lone bright spot for the Magic as they lost by 36 points to the Thunder on Tuesday. The 24-year-old point guard was efficient with 20 points on 11 field goal attempts and shot 4-of-8 from behind the three-point line. Suggs has provided seventh-round per game value this season. The Magic will look to bounce back Thursday against the Nets.
Miller surprised BOS is 'this good' without Tatum
Noah Eagle and Reggie Miller review the "high standard" the Celtics showed against the Mavericks and why it is surprising Boston is "this good" without Jayson Tatum.
  • DAL Forward-Center #21
Daniel Gafford (ankle) finished Tuesday’s loss to the Celtics with 10 points (4-of-5 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), 12 rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocked shots.
  • DAL Forward #32
Cooper Flagg tallied 36 points (12-of-24 FGs, 10-of-11 FTs), nine rebounds, six assists, two blocks and two three-pointers in Tuesday’s loss to the Celtics.
  • OKC Guard #11
Isaiah Joe had 22 points (8-of-12 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), one steal and five three-pointers in Tuesday’s win over the Magic.
Joe had 22 points and made five three-pointers in 23 minutes against the Magic on Tuesday. The 26-year-old shooting guard hadn’t scored at least 20 points since November 11 against the Lakers. Joe can be worth streaming if the Thunder are missing multiple rotation players, but that isn’t the case right now.
  • BOS Guard #9
Derrick White amassed 11 points (4-of-13 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), two rebounds, eight assists and one three-pointer in Tuesday’s win over the Mavericks.
  • BOS Center #52
Luka Garza accumulated 16 points (6-of-8 FGs), four rebounds, one assist, two steals, one block and four three-pointers in Tuesday’s win over the Mavericks.
  • BOS Guard #11
Payton Pritchard notched 26 points (12-of-20 FGs), four rebounds, seven assists and two three-pointers in Tuesday’s win over the Mavericks.
Pritchard, who won the NBA Sixth Man of the Year award last season, started each of the Celtics’ first 48 games of the 2025-26 campaign. That changed on Tuesday, but there were no issues with the adjustment for the guard. Pritchard shot 60 percent from the field, recorded seven assists, and still played 35 minutes. Baylor Scheierman (3/7/3/1/1 with one three-pointer) started and played 28 minutes, offering limited value in that role. Whether he starts or comes off the bench, Pritchard is a player who has to be rostered in all leagues.
  • BOS Guard-Forward #7
Jaylen Brown finished Tuesday’s win over the Mavericks with 33 points (15-of-29 FGs, 11 rebounds, three assists, one steal and two three-pointers.
Brown came out hot on Tuesday, scoring 15 points in the first quarter. Other Celtics stepped up in the final three periods to help seal the win, while JB finished with his second consecutive 30-point double-double. With the Celtics visiting the Rockets on Wednesday, it would be unsurprising if Brown showed up on the initial injury report. While he did play both games of the team’s most recent back-to-back, there were two instances earlier this season when he did not.
  • OKC Center-Forward #55
Isaiah Hartenstein had 12 points (4-of-6 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), 10 rebounds, 10 assists and one block in Tuesday’s win over the Magic.
Hartenstein had his first triple-double of his career and remarkably accomplished that feat with just 23 minutes played. Thunder coach Mark Daigneault compared his 27-year-old center to former Thunder triple-double artist Russell Westbrook during his postgame press conference. Hartenstein has provided eighth-round per game value this season. He should still be fresh for Wednesday’s game against the Spurs on the second night of a back-to-back.
  • Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 20 points (8-of-22 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, nine assists, two steals and one three-pointer in the Thunder’s 128-92 victory over the Magic on Tuesday.
Gilgeous-Alexander is playing through a finger injury on his shooting hand, but still managed to lead the Thunder to a runaway victory Tuesday over the Magic. The 27-year-old point guard wasn’t efficient with 20 points on 22 field goal attempts, but managed to dish out nine assists and had one three-pointer. It’s a quick turnaround for SGA and the Thunder as they play the Spurs on the road on the second night of a back-to-back on Wednesday.
