According to James Edwards of The Athletic, the Pistons are unlikely to pick up Frank Jackson’s $3.1 million team option for next season.
The Pistons have until Tuesday to decide on Jackson and Diallo’s team options. According to Edwards, they are likely to pick up Diallo’s option, but we have not heard an official word yet. If Jackson becomes a free agent, he will likely command some interest from around the league, but he will not be a fantasy target on draft night no matter where he lands.

Deandre Ayton (elbow) is off the injury report ahead of Tuesday’s game against the Suns.
Ayton is set to return Tuesday against the Suns after missing two games with an elbow injury. Jaxson Hayes and Jarred Vanderbilt will cede minutes to Ayton upon his return. The 27-year-old center remains a reliable starter in standard formats and the Lakers have three games this week.
Herro misses fourth straight game with toe injury
As Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro continues to miss games, this time with a toe injury, Eric Samulski details who in the Heat lineup fills the void and what level of concern managers should have for Herro's injury history.
  • LAL Forward-Guard #77
Luka Dončić (leg) is out for Tuesday’s game against the Suns.
Dončić suffered a lower left leg contusion during Saturday’s loss to the Clippers and did not return after halftime. While Dalton Knecht started the third quarter, the Lakers were already without Austin Reaves. If Reaves can play on Tuesday, there won’t be many minutes available to Knecht.
  • PHX Guard #4
Jalen Green (hamstring) will be re-evaluated in two to three weeks.
Green has been sidelined since November 9, having aggravated a hamstring injury suffered during the preseason. With Monday’s update, he officially won’t be back until sometime in January. Fantasy managers who have been stashing Green in an IL+ slot should continue to do so. As for the spot in the starting lineup, Collin Gillespie should continue to fill the void, and he’s worth streaming in 12-team formats.
  • CHA Forward-Center #22
LaMelo Ball, Kon Knueppel, Brandon Miller, Miles Bridges and Mason Plumlee will start Monday’s game against the Cavaliers.
The Hornets are without Ryan Kalkbrenner (elbow) for Monday’s game, opening up a spot in the starting lineup. However, it’s Plumlee who receives the starting nod rather than Moussa Diabaté. Getting to start raises Plumlee’s ceiling, but he remains a risky play regardless of league size/format.
  • DAL Guard #00
Max Christie (illness) is out for Monday’s game against the Pelicans.
Christie was initially listed as questionable with an illness, but will miss the game against the Pelicans Monday. The 22-year-old guard has played less than 20 minutes in each of his last two game. Christie’s absence won’t significantly impact fantasy basketball.
  • DAL Guard #31
Klay Thompson (knee) is available for Monday’s game against the Pelicans.
Thompson was initially questionable for Monday’s game, but he’ll be available. The veteran wing has been better since moving to the bench, but he still offers limited fantasy value. There’s no need to roster Thompson in 12-team leagues.
  • DAL Forward #32
Cooper Flagg (back) is available for Monday’s game against the Pelicans.
Flagg is good to go after being listed as questionable on the initial injury report. He will occupy his usual place in the starting lineup.
  • CLE Guard #45
Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, Jaylon Tyson, Dean Wade and Jarrett Allen will start Monday’s game against the Hornets.
Mitchell is back after sitting out Friday’s loss to the Hornets. In the lone change to the Cavaliers’ starting lineup, his return means that Tyrese Proctor heads to the bench. And with Sam Merrill also available, the rookie could fall out of the rotation entirely.
  • SAS Forward-Center #1
Victor Wembanyama (calf) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Thunder.
Wembanyama has been available for all four official games the Spurs have played since returning from a strained calf. However, he has not played more than 21 minutes in any of those outings, and there’s a chance that Wemby won’t play on Tuesday. Luke Kornet has remained in the starting lineup, and that may not change even if Wembanyama plays. What would change if Wemby sits is that Kelly Olynyk would pick up rotation minutes off the bench.
  • CLE Guard #9
Craig Porter Jr. (illness) is available for Monday’s game against the Hornets.
Porter is back after sitting out Friday’s loss to the Hornets. While he may play some rotation minutes off the bench, Porter is not worth rostering when Darius Garland and Lonzo Ball are available.
