Along with an East Bay dunk, Obi Toppin contributed 17 points (6-for-9 FGs), nine rebounds, one assist and one triple in a 109-104 win over Cleveland on Friday.
Toppin hasn’t had a monster preseason, but he showed just how fun this team can be this season. His dunking ability is the most notable part of his game, but he was also able to contribute value in other areas against Cleveland. Toppin is being drafted as a late-round swing, and there’s no reason to not take a chance on him. Tyrese Haliburton also had a solid game with a 14/4/9/4/1 line. Buddy Hield chipped in 20 points off the bench with six triples.

Trey Murphy (hand) is available for Sunday’s game against the Spurs.
Added to the Pelicans’ injury report early Sunday afternoon, Murphy is good to go for the matchup with the Spurs. He’ll take on his usual role as one of the offensive focal points for the Pelicans.
HLs: Doncic scores 33 in comeback win over Mavs
The Los Angeles Lakers rallied with a 29-6 run in the fourth quarter to secure a come-from-behind win against the Dallas Mavericks, with Luka Doncic leading the way with 33 points.
  • SAC Guard #0
Malik Monk had 19 points (7-of-11 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), one rebound, two assists, one steal, three blocks and three three-pointers in Sunday’s loss to the Pistons.
Monk was in line for more minutes off the bench Sunday once Zach LaVine (back) was ruled out. The 27-year-old guard played 22 minutes in the Kings’ blowout loss at the hands of the Pistons and had 19 points on 11 field goal attempts. Monk still isn’t worth rostering in most fantasy leagues, but he flashed some of his potential Sunday.
  • MIA Guard #45
Davion Mitchell (shoulder) is out for Sunday’s game against the Suns.
Sunday’s game will be the third that Mitchell has missed with a sprained left shoulder. Kasparas Jakučionis (face) has started the last two, but he’s questionable. If the rookie can’t play, Dru Smith will likely be the next man up at point guard.
  • DET Center #0
Jalen Duren had 18 points (7-of-8 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), six rebounds, one assist, two steals and one block in Sunday’s win over the Kings.
Duren’s breakout season continued Sunday against the Kings as he put up at least 18 points for the fourth consecutive game. The 22-year-old center was able to hit his season average in points despite playing just 24 minutes because of the lopsided score. He’s provided fourth-round per game value this season. The Pistons have an off-day Monday before starting a four-game week with the Nuggets on Tuesday.
  • DET Forward #12
Tobias Harris had 16 points (6-of-12 FGs), two rebounds, three assists, two steals and four three-pointers in Sunday’s win over the Kings.
Harris was efficient, making 6-of-12 field goal attempts including four three-pointers. It was reminiscent of the 33-year-old small forward’s 25-point effort against the Celtics earlier this week. The main difference was the Pistons blew out the Kings by 23 points and Harris only played 24 minutes. While Harris hasn’t been a great fantasy asset this season, his production has improved since returning from a hip injury and he could benefit from a change of scenery if he’s traded before the deadline.
  • TOR Guard #14
Ja’Kobe Walter (hip) is available for Sunday’s game against the Thunder.
Walter is back in the mix after missing Toronto’s last six games. While his availability won’t have a significant effect on fantasy basketball, there may be a few more minutes available if he isn’t under any restrictions. Immanuel Quickley (ankle) is a game-time decision, and his absence would open things up for multiple players.
  • DET Guard #2
Cade Cunningham had 29 points (13-of-22 FGs, 0-of-1 FTs), five rebounds, 11 assists, three steals, one block and three three-pointers in Sunday’s 139-116 victory over the Kings.
Cunningham broke a streak of four consecutive games where he failed to reach at least 20 points with a 29-point effort against the Kings on Sunday. While there was speculation that the 24-year-old point guard’s wrist injury was impacting his shooting, Cunningham largely put those concerns to rest against the Kings. He’s provided second-round per game value this season. The Pistons have four games in the upcoming week, starting with a matchup against the Nuggets on Tuesday.
  • Collin Murray-Boyles (thumb) is out for Sunday’s game against the Thunder.
Sunday’s game will be the fourth that Murray-Boyles has missed with a thumb injury. Sandro Mamukelashvili will continue to be of added importance to the Raptors and fantasy managers, whether he starts or comes off the bench.
  • LAL Forward #12
Jake LaRavia (quad) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Bulls.
LaRavia, who’s been a fixture in the starting lineup since the end of December, is dealing with a left quad contusion. If he’s unable to play against the Bulls, that opens the door for Rui Hachimura to start for the first time since going down with a strained calf last month.
  • HOU Guard #0
Aaron Holiday (back) is probable for Monday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Holiday has missed Houston’s last five games with a back injury. While having the veteran guard available would give the Rockets another option off the bench, Holiday is not a lock to play rotation minutes.
