Ron Harper Jr. was waived by the Raptors on Friday, per ESPN’s Marc J. Spears.
Harper Jr. is set to undergo a season-ending shoulder surgery next week, so the Raptors will make a move to open up a spot for a new two-way player. He will likely remain around the organization and could be back on a two-way next year when he’s healthy.

Caleb Martin (ankle) is available for Sunday’s game against the Pacers.
Martin is good to go after being listed as probable for Sunday’s game. With Max Christie (ankle) back in the rotation after missing Friday’s loss to the Timberwolves, there may not be enough minutes available for Martin to be fantasy-relevant.
HLs: Edwards torches Mavericks, scores 40 points
Anthony Edwards returned to Minnesota with his All-Star Game MVP award and scored 40 points to help the Timberwolves beat Dallas 122-111. Edwards, who has eight 40-point games this season, had 14 in the fourth quarter.
  • DAL Forward-Center #21
Daniel Gafford (ankle) is available for Sunday’s game against the Pacers.
Gafford was initially listed as questionable for right ankle injury management reasons, but has since been ruled in for Sunday’s matchup with the Pacers. While the 27-year-old center’s ankle injury has lingered, he hasn’t missed a game in almost a month.
  • DAL Guard #00
Max Christie (ankle) is available for Sunday’s game against the Pacers.
Christie is back after sitting out Friday’s loss to the Timberwolves. His return will likely push Naji Marshall to the bench. While his fantasy value does take a hit with the demotion, Marshall should play enough to make him worth holding onto in 14-team formats.
  • OKC Center-Forward #7
Chet Holmgren recorded a double-double on Sunday with 17 points (5-of-14 FGs, 6-of-9 FTs), 15 rebounds, four assists, one steal, three blocks and one three-pointer in a 121-113 win over the Cavaliers.
This was an impressive showing for Holmgren, especially against the Cavs. He dominated the glass against Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley while matching his season high for boards. He still supplied his typical dose of buckets and blocks as well, but it was his effort on the glass that stood out. He has recorded a double-double in five of his last seven games, which is the type of effort they’ll need to stay afloat with Jalen Williams and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander sidelined.
  • Dennis Schröder posted a full line on Sunday with 11 points (3-of-9 FGs), four rebounds, seven assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer against the Thunder.
Schröder hasn’t provided much fantasy production this season, especially since he was traded to Cleveland, but he was able to contribute a solid boost off the bench in this game. While he is still capable of being productive in fantasy hoops, the opportunity isn’t there for him with both Donovan Mitchell and James Harden healthy. Schroder is still rostered in 19 percent of Yahoo! leagues, but he should be left on the waiver wire despite a decent performance in this game.
  • CLE Guard #5
Sam Merrill started the second half on Sunday and contributed 20 points (7-of-12 FGs), three rebounds and six three-pointers against the Thunder.
Merrill started the second half of this game in place of Dean Wade, and the choice was a strong one. After scoring nine points in the first half, he had eight more in the first three minutes of the third quarter. Unfortunately, he only hit one more triple over the course of the rest of the game. This was likely a hot-hand situation, so Merrill should return to playing a role off the bench in Tuesday’s game against the Knicks.
  • CLE Guard #1
James Harden led the Cavaliers with 20 points (8-of-14 FGs), five rebounds, nine assists, one steal, one block, three three-pointers and five turnovers in a 121-113 loss to the Thunder on Sunday.
This was the first loss of the Harden era in Cleveland, but he was still able to turn in a strong performance as one of three Cavs to finish with 20 points. His counting stats have gone down since the trade from the Clippers, but he has been far more efficient, which has allowed him to maintain second-round value in nine-category leagues. They have four games next week, starting against the Knicks on Tuesday.
  • Tyrese Haliburton (Achilles) has been diagnosed with shingles and will be away from the Pacers for the next two to three weeks.
Haliburton, who is out for the entire 2025-26 season after rupturing his Achilles tendon during Game 7 of last June’s NBA Finals, recently contracted shingles. His time away from the team won’t affect fantasy basketball, but young players like guard Kam Jones won’t be able to benefit from Haliburton’s in-person tutelage for the time being.
  • IND Guard-Forward #23
Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle said on Sunday that Aaron Nesmith (ankle) will be sidelined for at least one week.
Nesmith sprained his right ankle during Thursday’s loss to the Wizards, with his absence leading to Kam Jones receiving the starting nod the following night. Depending on Jones’ back, which has been an issue recently, Nesmith’s absence should ensure the rookie guard takes on extended minutes, whether he starts or comes off the bench.
  • OKC Guard #22
Cason Wallace recorded a double-double on Sunday with 20 points (7-of-17 FGs), four rebounds, 10 assists, three steals and four three-pointers against the Cavaliers.
With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (abdominal) still sidelined, Wallace has taken on extra usage as the lead ball handler. In this game, that led to him setting a new career high for assists. His last few games prior to this one had been rough, but he had a few other strong performances with SGA out before that. SGA will miss at least two more games before he is re-evaluated, so Wallace should continue to occupy a high-usage role.
