ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Kings have traded Davion Mitchell, Sasha Vezenkov and the 45th pick in the 2024 NBA Draft for Jalen McDaniels.
Vezenkov only logged 12.2 minutes per game as a rookie, but he could see an increase in playing time for the rebuilding Raptors. Mitchell averaged nearly 28 minutes per game as a rookie, but his playing time has declined in each of the last two seasons. Both players were afterthoughts off of Sacramento’s bench, but they may see new opportunities in Toronto. Neither player, however, is worth drafting in 12-team fantasy leagues next season.
  • LAC Power Forward #21

Kobe Brown (lower back soreness) has been ruled out for Tuesday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Brown will miss a fourth straight game, but his continued absence will not have an impact on fantasy basketball.
  • LAC Point Guard #77
Kevin Porter Jr. (left ankle sprain) will remain sidelined for Tuesday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
This will be a second straight absence for KPJ, which will open up extra minutes for Terance Mann and Amir Coffey off the bench. Both guys scored in double figures in their last game, but neither will be great streaming options on a day with 11 games.
  • POR Point Guard #00
Scoot Henderson (left quad contusion) is questionable to play against the Clippers on Tuesday.
Henderson has missed their last two games, and there is a chance that it is a third straight absence. If he remains sidelined, Dalano Banton will continue to be the backup point guard behind Anfernee Simons.
  • CHI Small Forward #15
The Bulls will start Josh Giddey, Ayo Dosunmu, Zach LaVine, Julian Phillips and Nikola Vucevic against the Nets on Monday.
Phillips will get his first career start, replacing Coby White for this game. Phillips only played seven minutes in their last game, but he’ll likely see a new season-high for minutes as a starter.
  • BKN Small Forward #45
The Nets will start Dennis Schroder, Tyrese Martin, Keon Johnson, Jalen Wilson and Nic Claxton against Chicago on Monday.
Martin and Johnson will replace Cam Johnson and Ziaire Williams in the starting unit, with Keon getting his first start of the year. He has scored in double figures in two straight games and should keep that up as a starter. Martin has been quiet since his 30-point game, but this will be a good opportunity for him.
  • SAS Point Guard #33
Tre Jones (left shoulder sprain) has been ruled out for Tuesday’s game against Phoenix.
Jones exited early from their last game, but he hasn’t played a large role this year. With Jeremy Sochan expected back, the Spurs will have plenty of playmakers without Jones, with both Chris Paul and Stephon Castle filling the role.
  • SAS Power Forward #10
Jeremy Sochan (fractured left thumb) is listed as probable for Tuesday’s game against the Suns.
Sochan has been sidelined for nearly a month, but he is expected to make his return to the lineup for this game. Stephon Castle entered the starting lineup when Sochan went down, but it will likely be Julian Champagnie that is pushed out of the starting lineup.
  • PHI Power Forward #8
Pete Nance has signed a two-way contract with the 76ers.
Nance has been playing with the Cleveland Charge this season, but he’ll join Philadelphia’s organization. He’ll likely spend most of his time with the Blue Coats, though he may see some time soon with the 76ers due to the injuries to Joel Embiid and Andre Drummond. However, he isn’t a player worth streaming at this point. They waived Lester Quinones to make room for Nance.
  • BOS Small Forward #27
The Celtics will start Derrick White, Jaylen Brown, Jordan Walsh, Jayson Tatum and Luke Kornet against Miami on Monday.
Previous reports indicated that Payton Pritchard and Neemias Queta would start, but they’ll play reserve roles in this game. Pritchard should still play a ton of minutes, but it will be Walsh that will get his first start of the year and the second of his career. Kornet will start at center, but he will likely split the minutes with Queta.
  • MIA Small Forward #11
The Heat will start Tyler Herro, Duncan Robinson, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Haywood Highsmith and Bam Adebayo against Boston on Monday.
With Jimmy Butler sidelined with a knee injury, Jaquez will get his first start of the season. He hasn’t been impactful in fantasy hoops this season, but this is a great opportunity for him to have a solid night.
