Josh Giddey finished Tuesday’s loss to Serbia with 25 points, five rebounds, four assists and three triples across 33 minutes.
Giddey was superb in Olympic play, despite his team’s exit in the quarterfinals. Chicago brass is surely hopeful that Giddey will play at this level next season for his new team. The 6’8 floor general is projected to be the Bulls’ starting PG for the 2024-25 campaign.

Stephen Curry (knee) is out for Saturday’s game against the Lakers.
Curry has been dealing with “runner’s knee” for a few weeks. It’s unknown how much longer the star guard will be out, but at the very least, he will miss one more game. Gui Santos has been productive as a spot starter and is worth a look in deeper leagues while Curry sits.
Could Doncic (hamstring) miss extended time?
Eric Samulski reveals why the Lakers might elect to have Luka Doncic rest through the All-Star break after injuring his hamstring in a game against the 76ers.
  • POR Guard #1
Blake Wesley (foot) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Grizzlies.
The Trail Blazers and Grizzlies play on Friday and Saturday, so Wesley is likely to miss one of those games for injury management reasons. His availability does not affect fantasy basketball, especially with Scoot Henderson (hamstring) set to make his season debut.
  • SAC Forward-Center #11
Domantas Sabonis (back) is out for Friday’s matchup with the Clippers.
Sabonis has appeared in just one of the Kings’ last three games, and he’s logged only 19 games this season due to lingering injuries. In Sabonis’ absence, Maxime Raynaud and Dylan Cardwell should continue to soak up minutes. The pair of backup centers has “silly season” appeal, as Sacramento has no incentive to play Sabonis down the stretch of a lost season.
  • LAL Forward-Guard #77
ESPN’s Dave McMenamin reports that Luka Dončić (hamstring) is doubtful for Saturday’s matchup with the Warriors.
Dončić suffered the left hamstring injury in Thursday’s win over the 76ers, and McMenamin notes that there is optimism the injury is not serious. Fantasy managers can breathe a sigh of relief for now, but the extent of Dončić’s injury is still unknown. Until we get more clarity on the situation, the Lakers will fill his vacated minutes by committee with Jake LaRavia, Rui Hachimura and Luke Kennard logging some additional minutes.
  • CHA Forward #20
ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that Tosan Evbuomwan has signed a two-way deal with the Hornets.
Charlotte waived KJ Simpson in a subsequent move. Evbuomwan will offer forward depth, but he’s not likely to see enough run to be worth a look in most fantasy leagues.
  • MIL Forward #18
Kyle Kuzma (calf) is out for Friday’s matchup with the Pacers.
Kuzma is dealing with left calf soreness, and it will cost him at least one game. Bobby Portis (hip) is questionable, and if he’s able to take the court, he should replace Kuz in the starting lineup. If Portis ends up sitting out, Pete Nance could join the first unit, and new addition Ousmane Dieng could see some run as well.
  • DET Center #0
Jalen Duren (knee) is questionable for Friday’s matchup with the Knicks.
Duren left Thursday’s loss to the Wizards early due to right knee soreness, and he’s in danger of sitting out the second leg of the Pistons’ back-to-back set. If Duren is out, Isaiah Stewart could remain in the starting five after starting in place Tobias Harris on Thursday. Harris (hip) is expected to take the court, and he and Stewart could hold things down in the frontcourt.
  • DET Forward #12
Tobias Harris (hip) is listed as probable for Friday’s matchup with the Knicks.
The veteran sat out Thursday’s loss to the Wizards, but he’ll be back for the second leg of the Pistons’ back-to-back set. Fantasy managers should expect him to handle his typical workload.
  • NYK Forward-Guard #8
OG Anunoby (toe) has been downgraded to questionable for Friday’s matchup with the Pistons.
Anunoby’s status doesn’t bode well for his availability, and if he’s sidelined, Mohamed Diawara could join the starting five. More minutes should be available for Landry Shamet, and Josh Hart should handle an increased workload.
  • NYK Center-Forward #32
Karl-Anthony Towns (eye) is doubtful for Friday’s matchup with the Pistons.
With Towns expected to sit this one out, Mitchell Robinson should be in line for a spot start, and Ariel Hukporti will back him up. Robinson is worth streaming for managers in need of rebounds and blocked shots.
