Trey Jemison (illness) is out for Friday’s game against the Nuggets.

Jemison will not be available for Friday’s game due to an illness, leaving the Lakers light on options at the center position. Alex Len and Christian Koloko will take on the unenviable task of defending Nikola Jokic. Neither player is worth the risk in most fantasy leagues.

Isaiah Stewart (ankle) is doubtful to play against the Jazz on Wednesday.

Stewart was expected to be re-evaluated on Friday, but the doubtful tag is an indicator that he may return soon. Quinten Post should be the backup center for the opener and will remain in that role until Stewart is available.

Leonard Miller (groin) is probable to play against the Raptors on Wednesday.

Miller was a stud during the preseason, and he should be available for the season opener despite managing an adductor strain. He may spend some time as the backup power forward, but his impact may be limited behind Caleb Wilson.

Dailyn Swain (illness) is doubtful to play against the Raptors on Wednesday.

Swain is dealing with a stomach illness that will likely prevent him from being available for his NBA debut. Jordan Hawkins is doubtful with the same listing, so it may be going around the locker room. Swain’s next opportunity to debut will come against the Bucks on Friday.

Awaka had some hype during training camp, especially with Nic Claxton (hamstring) injured. However, with Zach Collins (quad) probable and Jalen Smith available, Awaka will likely only play a few minutes, if he sees the floor at all.

Aaron Nesmith (hamstring) has been ruled out against the Pelicans on Wednesday.

Nesmith was able to return to practice last week, but he won’t be ready to suit up for the season opener. Kelly Oubre Jr, should step into the starting role in his place and would be worth streaming if Nesmith continues to miss time.

Tyler Bilodeau (shoulder) has been ruled out against the Hornets on Wednesday.

The rookie won’t be available for Brooklyn’s season opener, so his NBA debut will have to wait at least one more game. He’s on a two-way contract, so he likely won’t see the floor much when he’s healthy.

Jase Richardson (back) is not on the injury report ahead of Wednesday’s game against the Hawks.

Richardson exited early from Friday’s preseason game with a back injury, but that won’t keep him from suiting up in the season opener. Anthony Black (ankle) has been ruled out, so Richardson may take on a few extra minutes off the bench in the backcourt.
