Baylor Scheierman produced 13 points (6-of-15 FGs), eight rebounds, eight assists, three steals and one three-pointer in Sunday’s win over the Knicks.
Given the many changes to the Celtics’ roster since the end of the 2024-25 season, Scheierman is a young player who should have more opportunities to contribute next season. He shot 1-of-7 from three on Sunday, but the rebounds and assists were encouraging. Scheierman is not a must-select player in 12-team drafts, but he’ll be worth a look in deeper formats. What could change that would be if Boston were to trade Sam Hauser, whose name has come up in rumors this offseason as the Celtics navigate the salary cap.

Jalen Smith (calf) is doubtful for Wednesday’s matchup with the Celtics.
Smith is still dealing with a right calf strain, and it will keep him out for a third straight contest. Guerschon Yabusele and Nick Richards will fill in at center until Smith returns.
Curry to miss 2026 NBA All-Star Game
Noah Rubin breaks down what Stephen Curry's injury, one that will keep him out of the NBA All-Star Game, means for the Golden State Warriors and who has picked up the slack in his absence.
  • TOR Center #19
According to Raptors reporter Omer Osman, Jakob Poeltl (back) is questionable for Wednesday’s matchup with the Pistons.
Poeltl could return to the court after nearly two months on the shelf, though he’ll surely be on a minutes restriction if he does. With Collin Murray-Boyles (thumb) already ruled out, Sandro Mamukelashvili could be in line for big minutes.
  • According to Raptors reporter Michael Grange, Collin Murray-Boyles (thumb) is out for Wednesday’s matchup with the Pistons.
CMB aggravated a lingering injury in Sunday’s matchup with the Pacers, and it will keep him out against Detroit. If Jakob Poeltl (back) returns, he’ll likely face a minutes restriction and share playing time with Sandro Mamukelashvili. Mamukelashvili is worth streaming on Wednesday for fantasy managers in need of big man stats.
  • IND Center #40
Pacers reporter Alex Golden reports that Ivica Zubac will not debut with Indiana until after the All-Star break.
Fantasy managers will have to wait a little longer to see Zu in a Pacers’ uniform, and it’s unlikely he sees a ton of run for Indiana down the stretch of a lost season. While Zubac is on the shelf, Jay Huff should continue to start at center.
  • CLE Forward #35
ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that Nae’Qwon Tomlin has agreed to a two-year, $3 million, guaranteed contract
The second-year man out of Memphis has offered quality minutes for the Cavaliers this season, and he’ll be rewarded by having his two-way contract converted into a standard deal. Tomlin is a valuable member of Cleveland’s rotation, but his production hasn’t been noteworthy in the world of fantasy hoops, so he can remain on the waiver wire.
  • LAL Guard #36
Marcus Smart lit up the Thunder with 19 points (7-of-16 FGs), three rebounds, three assists, two steals and four three-pointers on Monday.
Smart will eventually return to the bench when the Lakers are finally healthy, but for now, he’ll remain productive. This was his second straight game with at least 15 points after five straight scoring in single digits. Smart isn’t a reliable option for fantasy managers, but he is still capable of making an impact. This was the first leg of a back-to-back, so it would be surprising if Austin Reaves (calf) played against the Spurs on Tuesday. That could mean extra minutes for Smart.
  • LAL Forward #23
LeBron James led the Lakers with 22 points (9-of-17 FGs), six rebounds, 10 assists and one steal in a 119-110 loss to the Thunder on Monday.
The Lakers three-game winning streak came to an end, but James was able to remain productive. This was his third straight triple-double, and after turning it over 15 times across two games, he only coughed up the rock three times in this one. With Luka Dončić (hamstring) sidelined, James has stepped up as the Lakers’ primary playmaker. This was the first night of a back-to-back, and LeBron has played in both legs of their last two back-to-backs. Expect him to be out there against the Spurs on Tuesday.
  • OKC Guard #11
Isaiah Joe provided a boost off the bench with 19 points (6-of-13 FGs), three rebounds, two assists, two steals and four three-pointers against the Lakers on Monday.
Joe has been red-hot recently, though only as a reserve. Over his last four games, he has averaged 20.7 points in the three games he came off the bench and scored just two points in his lone start. Joe has taken on more minutes due to the all the injuries in the backcourt and has been a decent streaming option as of late. He’ll look to stay hot against the Suns on Wednesday.
  • OKC Guard-Forward #8
Jalen Williams returned to the lineup on Monday and contributed 23 points (6-of-17 FGs, 11-of-13 FTs), three rebounds, one assist and one steal in a 119-110 win over the Lakers.
After missing nearly a month with a hamstring injury, Williams was back in the lineup against Los Angeles. He was limited to 24 minutes, but he was able to make a strong impact despite a subpar shooting night. Nearly half his points came from the free throw line, which helped make up for his field goal percentage. Williams is typically able to contribute more value than he did in this game, but this was about getting him back on the floor. He’ll likely continue to have his minutes managed and should miss back-to-backs. OKC plays in Phoenix on Wednesday and against the Bucks on Thursday; expect Williams to play against the Suns.
  • DEN Guard #0
Christian Braun lit up the Cavaliers with 20 points (7-of-13 FGs), five rebounds, two assists and four three-pointers on Monday.
Braun hasn’t been available often this season, and when he has, he hasn’t been productive as of late. This was the first time he has scored 20 points in a game in over three months, which is a sign of hope for fantasy managers. It has been a disappointing season for him, but this could help him get back on track. He’ll look to carry some of this production over into Wednesday’s game against the Grizzlies.
