Knicks signed Garrison Mathews to a training camp deal.
New York agreed to a deal with Landry Shamet earlier in the day, and now it is being reported that it’s not a guaranteed deal for Shamet, which means Mathews and Shamet will be competing against each other for a roster spot. Whichever one makes the team will be nothing more than a reserve floor spacer.

Josh Hart amassed 10 points (4-of-9 FGs, 1-of-5 FTs), 13 rebounds, seven assists, one block and one three-pointer in Saturday’s win over the 76ers.
Liffmann: DAL 'team to watch' in trade deadline
Grant Liffmann unpacks the current state of the Dallas Mavericks ahead of the NBA trade deadline, explaining why the team and Anthony Davis are among the ones to watch before the deadline hits.
  • NYK Forward-Guard #8
OG Anunoby accounted for 23 points (10-of-15 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), seven rebounds, four assists, two steals and two three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the 76ers.
  • NYK Guard #11
Jalen Burnson finished Saturday’s win over the 76ers with 31 points (11-of-24 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), five rebounds, six assists and six three-pointers.
  • SAS Center-Forward #7
Luke Kornet (adductor) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Pelicans.
Kornet did not play in Thursday’s win over the Jazz. The Spurs went small for most of the minutes Victor Wembanyama wasn’t on the floor; expect a similar approach if Kornet can’t play against New Orleans.
  • SAS Guard-Forward #24
Devin Vassell (adductor) is not on the injury report for Sunday’s game against the Pelicans.
Vassell has been out since December 29, which has resulted in Julian Champagnie moving into the starting lineup. Depending on how the Spurs handle Vassell’s workload, Champagnie may get another start. He’s worth holding onto until Vassell plays without restrictions, given his three-point production.
  • CLE Forward-Guard #12
De’Andre Hunter (illness) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Magic.
Hunter is a late addition to the injury report, with Saturday’s game scheduled to tip off at 7 PM Eastern. His availability does not have a significant impact on fantasy basketball, even with Sam Merrill being out. There may be a few more minutes for Nae’Qwan Tomlin, but he should not be streamed when coming off the bench.
  • TOR Guard #14
Ja’Kobe Walter (hip) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Thunder.
Walter has missed Toronto’s last six games, freeing up additional minutes for Ochai Agbaji and Gradey Dick. With RJ Barrett returning from an ankle injury on Friday, there’s no need to stream Agbaji or Gradey if Walter remains out.
  • Collin Murray-Boyles (thumb) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Thunder.
Murray-Boyles has missed Toronto’s last three games, with Sandro Mamukelashvili replacing him in the lineup for Friday’s win over the Trail Blazers. Even if Murray-Boyles can play on Sunday, Mamu is worth holding onto due to Jakob Poeltl (back) being out indefinitely.
  • ORL Guard #4
Jalen Suggs (knee) is available for Saturday’s game against the Cavaliers.
After an eight-game absence, Suggs is available for the Magic. His return will likely push Tristan da Silva to the bench, but fantasy managers should plan for Suggs’ minutes to be restricted.
  • Jonas Valančiūnas (calf) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Valančiūnas did not play in Friday’s win over the Bucks, with Zeke Nnaji starting in his place and playing 37 minutes. Given Denver’s lack of depth in the frontcourt, Nnaji would be worth streaming in deep leagues if he starts.
