Deni Avdija led the Trail Blazers with 33 points (10-of-20 FGs, 10-of-11 FTs), six rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block, three three-pointers and five turnovers in a 123-115 loss to the Lakers on Monday.
This was a strong performance for Avdija as he set a new season-high for scoring. He has gotten off to a strong start to the year, which was expected after how well he played late last season. Turnovers have plagued his value in nine-cat leagues, but he has been able to pour in the counting stats. He’ll look to keep it up against the Thunder on Wednesday, though that won’t be an easy matchup.
