Maxime Raynaud provided a boost off the bench with 19 points (7-of-11 FGs), four rebounds, one block and one three-pointer against the Jazz on Friday.
Raynaud generally hasn’t played a large role outside of blowouts, but he was able to step into 22 minutes in this game and have the best offensive performances of his young career. He is an intriguing option in dynasty leagues, and this game could help him earn more minutes in the rotation, but he isn’t a standard league option at this point of his career.

Marcus Smart (back) is out for Sunday’s game against the 76ers.
Smart will miss a sixth straight game as he continues to deal with a strained left lumbar muscle. While his absence does not affect fantasy basketball, it means Gabe Vincent will continue to play solid minutes, even with Luka Dončić (personal) available.
Highlights: Pistons fourth-quarter rally beats POR
The Detroit Pistons scored 38 points in the final frame to narrowly defeat the Portland Trail Blazers in a high-scoring affair Friday night.
  • Immanuel Quickley (illness) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Celtics.
Quickley has yet to miss a game this season, but there’s a chance that could change on Sunday. If he’s unable to play, the Raptors will most likely turn to Jamal Shead to fill the void. He would be worth streaming in deep leagues if allowed to start. Also, Brandon Ingram and Scottie Barnes may be asked to take on more playmaking responsibilities.
  • TOR Forward #77
Jamison Battle (ankle) is doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Celtics.
Battle injured his ankle during Friday’s loss to the Hornets. His absence would not impact fantasy basketball, but it would likely mean a few more minutes for fellow reserves Sandro Mamukelashvili and Collin Murray-Boyles.
  • TOR Forward-Guard #9
RJ Barrett (knee) is out for Sunday’s game against the Celtics.
Barrett has missed Toronto’s last seven games with a sprained right knee, and Sunday’s contest will push that unfortunate streak to eight. Ja’Kobe Walter has been the replacement in the starting lineup, but his production has not been consistent enough to merit streaming. Leave him on the waiver wire.
  • LAL Forward-Guard #77
Luka Dončić (personal) has rejoined the Lakers in Philadelphia ahead of Sunday’s game against the 76ers.
Dončić missed the first two games of the Lakers’ road trip, as he was in Slovenia to witness the birth of his second child. His return to the team means that Gabe Vincent will head back to the bench, where he offers limited fantasy value at best.
  • NYK Center-Forward #32
Karl-Anthony Towns (calf) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Magic.
Towns is dealing with tightness in his left calf, which is why he is on the injury report. Mitchell Robinson would be the next man up if KAT can’t play, with him being most valuable as a rebounder and shot-blocker. Given his injury history, the Knicks have made a conscious effort not to play Robinson too much at this point in the season.
  • De’Anthony Melton (knee) is out for Saturday’s game against the Cavaliers.
After logging 21 minutes in his debut on Thursday, Melton will not make his second appearance of the season on Saturday. With Seth Curry also out, there will be more minutes available to Will Richard and Pat Spencer, with the former already in the starting lineup.
  • GSW Forward #23
Draymond Green (foot) is out for Saturday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Green aggravated a right midfoot sprain during Thursday’s loss to the 76ers, with the Warriors ruling him out at halftime. His absence on Saturday likely means that Quinten Post or Trayce Jackson-Davis will start, especially with Al Horford also out. Of the two, Post offers a higher fantasy ceiling.
  • GSW Forward #10
Jimmy Butler III (knee) is out for Saturday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Initially questionable for Saturday’s game, Butler is officially out. Gary Payton II and Buddy Hield are among the Warriors whose minutes stand to increase with Butler, among others, sidelined for Saturday’s game. Hield offers a higher fantasy ceiling, but the need to account for Donovan Mitchell may lead to Payton getting more minutes.
  • GSW Guard #31
Seth Curry (toe) is out for Saturday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Curry is among the many Warriors ruled out for Saturday’s game. With De’Antony Melton also out, expect to see a lot of Pat Spencer, who’s scored 17 and 16 points in his last two games. While a risky streaming play, he’s worth considering in deep leagues due to the current state of the Warriors’ roster.
