Isaiah Jackson recorded a double-double on Saturday with 14 points (5-of-5 FGs), 11 rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks against the Bulls.
Jackson was bumped to the bench for Friday’s game, and he wasn’t effective in that role. However, he was able to make a large impact in this one. Both Pacers bigs had success, as Jay Huff, who started at center, contributed 14 points, four blocks and four triples. Chicago allows a lot of paint points, so this was a favorable matchup, but it was still good to see both centers turn in strong stat lines. However, this is likely a one-time thing and not the start of a productive run for both.

Alperen Sengun (illness) is now questionable for Friday’s game against the Suns.
Sengun popped up as questionable with an illness on Friday afternoon ahead of the matchup against the Suns. The 23-year-old center’s status is up in air with mere hours to get over his illness. If Sengun is out, Steven Adams and Clint Capela will handle the center duties for the Rockets.
Embiid 'doesn't quite look like himself' this year
Noah Rubin analyzes the health of Joel Embiid, sharing why it is nice that he is playing even if his knee issues are hindering his fantasy production, also discussing the outlooks of backups Andre Drummond and Adem Bona.
  • CHA Forward #24
Brandon Miller (shoulder) is now probable for Friday’s game against the Raptors.
It’s good news for Miller, who has missed the last two games with a left shoulder injury. The 23-year-old small forward was upgraded to probable and is now likely to return against the Raptors on Friday. Sion James will head back to the bench, though Miller could be on a minutes restriction.
  • PHI Center-Forward #21
Joel Embiid (knees) is out for Friday’s game against the Bucks.
Embiid had 12 points and six rebounds in the loss to the Warriors on Thursday. It was his first game since November 30 and the 31-year-old center will sit out again Friday against the Bucks for injury recovery purposes. Andre Drummond and Adem Bona will handle the center duties in Embiid’s absence.
  • UTA Center #30
Jusuf Nurkić (rib) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Knicks.
Nurkić missed Thursday’s game against the Nets with a rib injury with Kyle Filipowski replacing him in the starting lineup. Filipowski had 15 points, eight rebounds and five assists in the win over Brooklyn. If Nurkić is out again, Filipowski will likely start again and he just showed he has streaming value under these circumstances.
  • TOR Guard #30
Ochai Agbaji (personal) is out for Friday’s game against the Hornets.
Agbaji missed Thursday’s game against the Lakers for personal reasons and will miss Friday’s game against the Hornets as well. Without the 25-year-old guard, AJ Lawson could pick up additional minutes.
  • LAL Guard #36
Marcus Smart (back) is out for Friday’s game against the Celtics.
Smart has missed the last four games with a back injury. He’ll continue to sit out as he manages the injury. Lakers coach JJ Redick told reporters earlier this week that he expected Smart back soon, but he’s missed two games since that quote and remains without a clear timetable to return.
  • LAL Forward-Guard #77
Luka Dončić (personal) is out for Friday’s game against the Celtics.
Dončić is still away from the team for personal reasons after missing Thursday’s game against Toronto. Without the 26-year-old point guard, Gabe Vincent should remain in the starting lineup. Austin Reaves will get a nice usage bump without Dončić as well.
  • LAL Forward #23
LeBron James (foot) is doubtful for Friday’s game against the Celtics.
Lebron finished with just eight points in the win over the Raptors on Thursday, snapping a streak of 1,297 games where he scored at least 10 points. Now the 40-year-old small forward is doubtful with a foot injury for Friday’s game against the Celtics. Gabe Vincent could move into the starting lineup if James is out, but isn’t worth rostering.
  • CLE Center #4
Evan Mobley (illness) is now questionable for Friday’s game against the Spurs.
Mobley popped up as questionable with an illness Friday afternoon ahead of the Cavaliers’ matchup against the Spurs. The 24-year-old center’s status for the game is certainly up in the air. With Jarrett Allen (finger) already ruled out, the Cavaliers could end up relying on Dean Wade and Nae’Qwan Tomlin in the frontcourt.
  • MIA Guard #24
Norman Powell (ankle) is available for Friday’s game against the Magic.
Powell is set to return on Friday against the Magic after missing Wednesday’s loss against the Mavericks. With Tyler Herro (toe) listed as doubtful, Powell is in line to run the offense for the Heat. Pelle Larsson will likely return to the bench with Powell back.
