Kevin Huerter accounted for 16 points (6-of-12 FGs), four rebounds, three steals and four three-pointers in Sunday’s loss to the Pelicans.
Having missed four games with a strained adductor, Huerter looked sharp in his 24 minutes against the Pelicans. Ayo Dosunmu (thumb) being out freed up some scoring opportunities for “Red Velvet,” who is not consistent enough to merit being rostered when he isn’t in the starting lineup. Leave him on the waiver wire, even if Dosunmu misses more time.
  • DEN Guard-Forward #11

Jamal Murray, Bruce Brown, Cameron Johnson, Spencer Jones and Nikola Jokić will start Thursday’s game against the Magic.
Already playing without Christian Braun and Aaron Gordon, the Nuggets won’t have Peyton Watson for Thursday’s game. However, while Tim Hardaway Jr. played 39 minutes off the bench on Monday, it will be Brown who fills the void in the starting lineup against the Magic. Hardaway should still play plenty, but his fantasy value won’t receive the same boost that it would have if he were starting.
How is it being a No. 1 player in the country?
Austin Rivers recounts the experience of being a No.1 recruit in the high school and what it was like playing with the weight of expectations at a young age.
  • ORL Guard #2
Tyus Jones, Anthony Black, Desmond Bane, Paolo Banchero and Wendell Carter Jr. will start Thursday’s game against the Nuggets.
The Magic won’t have Jalen Suggs for Thursday’s game, and Tristan da Silva is also out. As a result, Jones moves into the starting lineup, and he’s worth streaming when allowed to start. Black will also boast a higher fantasy ceiling due to the absences.
  • IND Center-Forward #13
Tony Bradley (thumb) will not return to Thursday’s game against the Knicks.
Bradley played four minutes before exiting with a sore right thumb. While he has not been a player worth rostering in fantasy leagues, his exit means more minutes for Jay Huff and Isaiah Jackson.
  • BKN Guard-Forward #4
Drake Powell (ankle) will not return to Thursday’s game against the Heat.
Powell played four minutes before exiting with a sprained right ankle. His exit likely means more time for fellow reserve Jalen Wilson, but this will not have a significant impact on fantasy basketball.
  • DEN Guard-Forward #10
Tim Hardaway Jr. (illness) is available for Thursday’s game against the Magic.
Hardaway is good to go after being listed as questionable on the initial injury report. With Peyton Watson (trunk) joining Christian Braun and Aaron Gordon on the sidelines, there’s a high likelihood that Hardaway will be in the starting lineup.
  • DEN Guard #8
Peyton Watson (trunk) is out for Thursday’s game against the Magic.
Injured during Monday’s win over the Rockets, Watson will not play on Thursday. His absence opens up a spot in the starting lineup, with Tim Hardaway Jr. being the player most likely to fill the void. Due to Watson’s early exit, Hardaway played a season-high 39 minutes on Monday and started the third quarter.
  • MIL Guard #5
Kevin Porter Jr., Gary Trent Jr., AJ Green, Myles Turner and Jericho Sims will start Thursday’s game against the Raptors.
Green is back in the starting lineup after missing three games with a shoulder injury. Kyle Kuzma, who was the replacement in the starting lineup, is not available due to illness. The other change to Milwaukee’s lineup is that Ryan Rollins has been bumped to the bench, with Trent starting alongside Porter. Those who have Rollins rostered must watch closely, as his fantasy value will take a hit if this change holds.
  • WAS Center #20
Bub Carrington, CJ McCollum, Bilal Coulibaly, Kyshawn George and Alex Sarr will start Thursday’s game against the Spurs.
Sarr and Coulibaly are back in the Wizards’ starting lineup after missing time due to injury. As a result, Justin Champagnie and Marvin Bagley III will head to the bench. This ensures that Carrington will continue to start, as the Wizards remain without Khris Middleton.
  • LAC Guard #12
Cam Christie (foot) is out for Thursday’s game against the Thunder.
Christie is dealing with right foot soreness. His current role isn’t significant enough to impact fantasy basketball with his availability and he should be left on the waiver wire for now.
  • GSW Guard #31
Seth Curry (glute) is out for Thursday’s game against the Suns.
Curry will be inactive for a fifth consecutive game. His absence will not affect fantasy basketball due to the lack of game action that he’s received.
