Kon Knueppel had 28 points (10-of-17 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, seven assists, three steals and six three-pointers against the Hawks on Thursday.
Knueppel continue to lead the Hornets with his consistent scoring. The 20-year-old shooting guard had at least 28 points for the third consecutive game. Knueppel was a game-high +18 in 35 minutes in the seven-point victory for the Hornets. Charlotte will close out the week with a matchup with the Pistons on Saturday.

Herb Jones (migraine) is available for Monday’s matchup with the Mavericks.
Jones bowed out of Saturday’s win over Indiana in the first half and did not return after getting hit in the face. The injury won’t cost him any time, and he should be expected to handle his typical workload.
Can Young to still be 'the guy' for Hawks?
Kenny Beecham is answering some of your questions, such as if he believes Trae Young can still be the main guy for the Atlanta Hawks or if a trade to a different team may be beneficial for both parties.
  • OKC Center-Forward #7
Chet Holmgren (back) is sidelined for Monday’s matchup with the Grizzlies.
Holmgren will join Isaiah Hartenstein and Jaylin Williams on the sideline, which should lead to additional playing time for Branden Carlson. Oklahoma City could opt to go small, with Jalen Williams and Cason Wallace handling additional responsibilities.
  • CHA Center #11
Ryan Kalkbrenner (elbow) has been ruled out for Monday’s matchup with the Cavaliers.
With Kalkbrenner sidelined due to a sprained elbow, Moussa Diabaté should be in line for a spot start, with Mason Plumlee absorbing backup center minutes.
  • CHA Guard #8
Collin Sexton (quad) has been ruled out for Monday’s matchup with Cleveland.
As expected, Sexton will miss a seventh straight contest, which should mean more minutes for Tre Mann and KJ Simpson. LaMelo Ball (wrist) is available, so he should handle a hefty workload, as usual.
  • MEM Center #10
Grizzlies signed Christian Koloko to a 10-day contract via hardship exception.
With Zach Edey on the shelf, the Grizzlies have relied on Santi Aldama and Jock Landale to hold things down at center. Koloko will provide depth at a position of need, but he’s unlikely to see enough run to merit an add in standard fantasy leagues.
  • BOS Guard-Forward #7
Jaylen Brown (illness) is available for Monday’s matchup with the Pacers.
Brown sat out Saturday against Toronto, but he’ll return following a one-game absence. Brown’s return should send Sam Hauser back to the bench after Hauser filled in for Brown on Saturday.
  • HOU Guard-Forward #1
Amen Thompson produced 18 points (7-of-10 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), nine rebounds, eight assists, three steals and one three-pointer in Sunday’s loss to the Kings.
Reunited with “Terror Twin” Tari Eason, Thompson finished a blocked shot shy of a complete stat line on Sunday. If there’s something to watch, especially as Eason’s minutes increase, it’s how his return will affect Thompson defensively. Combined, those two can wreak havoc defensively, which may boost the fantasy values of both if it leads to increased steals and blocks. Over the last two weeks, Thompson has been a third-round player in eight-cat formats, so it isn’t like he was struggling with Eason on the sidelines.
  • HOU Center #28
Alperen Şengün recorded 28 points (12-of-17 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), six rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocked shots in Sunday’s loss to the Kings.
One day removed from scoring eight points in his least productive game of the season, Şengün got back on track in Sacramento. He’s now scored at least 28 points in eight games, one more than his tally during the entire 2024-25 campaign. Over the last two weeks, Şengün has been a top-25 player in eight-cat formats, which aligns with his season-long value. The Rockets open a three-game Week 10 on Tuesday against the Clippers.
  • HOU Forward #17
Tari Eason (oblique) notched 16 points (6-of-8 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, three assists, one steal and three three-pointers in Sunday’s loss to the Kings.
Making his first appearance since November 14, Eason was under a minutes restriction on Sunday. However, the production in limited time on the floor was highly encouraging. Eason shot 75 percent from the field and made all three of his three-point attempts. For the season, he’s making nearly 51 percent of his 4.8 three-point attempts. That’s a far cry from Eason’s career percentage (36.4), so it’s fair to question if he can continue to shoot the ball that well. However, there’s no denying that Eason has improved in that area, and it raises his fantasy ceiling once his minutes increase. He’s rostered in 26 percent of Yahoo! leagues; it won’t be long until Eason is once again trustworthy in 12-team formats.
  • HOU Forward #7
Kevin Durant finished Sunday’s loss to the Kings with 24 points (8-of-21 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), 10 rebounds, eight assists and three three-pointers.
While Sunday’s result was disappointing for Durant and the Rockets, as they appeared to hold a commanding fourth-quarter lead, he did make some history. Not only did he move into tenth place on the career made field goals list, passing Hakeem Olajuwon, but KD became the sixth player to record at least 30,000 points and 6,000 assists in a career. Durant finished Sunday’s loss two assists shy of a triple-double, and he has been a top-10 player in eight-cat formats over the last two weeks. Houston plays three games in Week 10, starting with the Clippers on Tuesday.
