Victor Wembanyama recorded 32 points (12-of-21 FGs, 8-of-8 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists and five blocks in Saturday’s loss to the Jazz.
Wemby was inserted back into the Spurs’ starting lineup on Saturday, and he was excellent offensively. The 32 points were the most he’s scored in a game since November 10, when the phenom dropped 38 in a win over the Bulls. And Wembanyama did his damage in 28 minutes on Saturday, so there is still some kind of limit for him to navigate. Luke Kornet played 19 minutes off the bench, finishing with seven points, eight rebounds, one assist and one blocked shot. While deep-league managers may hold on to Kornet for a bit longer, standard-league managers who were streaming him can afford to move on. The Spurs open a four-game Week 11 on Monday against the Cavaliers.

Paolo Banchero notched 37 points (13-of-21 FGs, 9-of-13 FTs), 10 rebounds, four assists and two three-pointers in the loss to the Cavaliers.
Banchero did what he could to try to get the Magic back on track. Yet, his highest-scoring game of January wasn’t enough to end the Magic’s losing streak, which is now at four games. Banchero’s season high in points on Monday came on a blend of three-pointers, shots inside the arc, and production from the free-throw line. On top of his scoring outburst, he reached double figures in rebounds to secure his 14th double-double of the season. Regardless of whether Orlando can get back on track or not, it’s clear that Banchero will continue to deliver strong production from a fantasy basketball standpoint.
Highlights: Cavaliers put the Magic on mute
Donovan Mitchell and Paolo Banchero put on a show for their respective squads, but Mitchell's 45-point effort got the best of the Orlando Magic, giving the Cavaliers their fourth-straight win.
  • CLE Guard-Forward #20
Jaylon Tyson added 14 points (5-of-10 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), nine rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and two three-pointers in the win over the Magic on Monday.
Tyson got the start on Monday and logged another productive line. The sophomore wing’s double-digit scoring performance marked his ninth in a row, as he used a nice combination of three-point shooting, two-point shots, and free throws to extend his streak. Tyson also recorded four assists for the sixth straight game, and came up just one board shy of his second double-double of January. His well-rounded effort on Monday should leave some fantasy managers happy.
  • CLE Center #4
Evan Mobley tallied 20 points (9-of-16 FGs, 1-of-4 FTs), nine rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one three-pointer in the win over the Magic on Monday.
Mobley followed an inefficient 13-point showing against the Magic on Saturday with a much better overall performance in Monday’s rematch. He shot the ball well, leading him to finish as one of two Cavaliers players to score at least 20 points. Additionally, his solid work on the glass left him just shy of a double-double. The reigning Defensive Player of the Year added a couple of blocks on defense and even chipped in a three-pointer on the end, giving him a fine fantasy basketball performance altogether. He’ll have a chance to put together another good stat line on Wednesday against the Lakers.
  • CLE Guard #45
Donovan Mitchell added 45 points (15-of-25 FGs, 10-of-12 FTs), four rebounds, four assists, one steal and five three-pointers in the win over the Magic on Monday.
Just two days after dropping 36 points on the Magic in a win, Mitchell torched Orlando again on Monday. Efficient shooting, great three-point production, and lots of work at the charity stripe led the veteran shooting guard to his fifth 40-point game of the season. He also led all Cleveland starters in assists, as the Cavs put together their fourth straight win. Mitchell has been sensational all season long in what’s been, statistically, his most productive season as a pro. He’ll face the Lakers and then the Suns to close out January.
  • GSW Guard #61
Pat Spencer, Brandin Podziemski, Moses Moody, Gui Santos and Quinten Post will start Monday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Three of the starters from Sunday’s win over the Timberwolves — Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Al Horford — are unavailable for Monday’s rematch, as is reserve De’Anthony Melton. Spencer, Santos and Post move into the starting lineup, and the absences also boost the fantasy values of Podziemski and Moody.
  • MIN Guard #10
Mike Conley, Donte DiVincenzo, Jaden McDaniels, Julius Randle and Rudy Gobert will start Monday’s game against the Warriors.
With Anthony Edwards (foot) ruled out for Monday’s game, Conley moves into the starting lineup. However, the move into the starting lineup isn’t expected to result in a significant increase in the veteran point guard’s workload. Despite coming off the bench, Bones Hyland offers a higher ceiling for fantasy managers seeking a streamer.
  • MIN Guard #5
Anthony Edwards (foot) is out for Monday’s game against the Warriors.
Edwards will sit out Monday’s game after scoring 32 points in Sunday’s loss to the Warriors. Bones Hyland and Mike Conley will see their opportunities increase, with the former offering the higher streaming ceiling.
  • MIN Guard #5
Anthony Edwards (foot) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Warriors.
Edwards is a new addition to the injury report, with right foot injury management as the reason for his inclusion. Given the timing of the injury update, there’s a real possibility that he doesn’t play. If Edwards sits, Mike Conley and Bones Hyland will be asked to pick up the slack, with the latter offering a higher ceiling.
  • BOS Center #88
Derrick White, Payton Pritchard, Jaylen Brown, Sam Hauser and Neemias Queta will start Monday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
After coming off the bench in Saturday’s loss to the Bulls, Queta is back in the starting lineup. With Luka Garza (ankle) unavailable, the Celtics may play their starting center more than usual. Amari Williams, who started on Saturday, could be in the rotation, but the rookie should only be rostered in dynasty leagues.
  • MEM Forward-Center #7
Cam Spencer, Cedric Coward, Jaylen Wells, Santi Aldama and Jaren Jackson Jr. will start Monday’s game against the Rockets.
After a two-game absence, Aldama is back on the court and is part of the Grizzlies’ starting lineup. His return pushes Jock Landale to the bench, lowering the latter’s fantasy ceiling. However, both players are worth rostering as the Grizzlies continue without Zach Edey (ankle).
