Moussa Diabaté (hip) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Lakers.
Diabaté has been consistently productive for the Hornets over the past month, especially while Ryan Kalkbrenner was out with an elbow injury. A sore right hip could keep Diabaté out of Thursday’s game, which would likely result in Kalkbrenner returning to the starting lineup. There would also be more opportunities for Grant Williams, but his playing time may not increase much, since he’s returning from a torn ACL.
  • PHI Forward #8

Paul George (knee) is probable for Friday’s game against the Cavaliers.
George is on the injury report for left knee injury management reasons, and the probable tag suggests that he’ll be available on Friday. He played 30 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to the Cavaliers and should take on a similar workload in the rematch.
Black throws down insane dunk over four defenders
Anthony Black Euro-stepped his way through four defenders for an insane dunk against the Memphis Grizzlies.
  • PHI Center-Forward #21
Joel Embiid (knee) is probable for Friday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Embiid is back on the injury report, but the probable tag suggests that he’ll be able to play. He’ll look to clean up the turnovers in Friday’s rematch with Cleveland, as he committed six in Wednesday’s blowout defeat.
  • PHI Forward #25
Dominick Barlow (back) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Barlow fell hard on his back during the third quarter of Wednesday’s loss to the Cavaliers and did not return. If he’s unable to play on Friday, the 76ers could look to Jabari Walker to fill the void since Cleveland starts Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen. That said, Walker is not a must-stream player in that role, especially since the 76ers could also choose to start Adem Bona alongside Joel Embiid.
  • CLE Forward-Center #32
Dean Wade (knee) is out for Friday’s game against the 76ers.
Friday’s game will be the fifth that Wade has missed due to a left knee contusion. With Sam Merrill (hand) also out, the Cavaliers will have to rely even more on Jaylon Tyson, who has already been productive enough to merit being rostered in some 12-team formats.
  • CLE Guard #5
Sam Merrill (hand) is out for Friday’s game against the 76ers.
Merrill sprained his right hand during Wednesday’s win over the 76ers. Hopefully, this isn’t an injury that will shelve him for an extended period. De’Andre Hunter, who offers limited fantasy upside, will figure more prominently within the Cavaliers’ bench unit with Merrill unavailable.
  • CLE Guard #10
Darius Garland (toe) is out for Friday’s game against the 76ers.
Garland is dealing with a sore right great toe, which he injured during Wednesday’s win over the 76ers. It was the left great toe that he injured late last season, ultimately undergoing surgery to address the issue in the summer. Garland’s absence means more playing time for Craig Porter Jr., and Donovan Mitchell will spend even more time on the ball.
  • WAS Forward #1
Cam Whitmore (shoulder) is out for the rest of the 2025-26 season.
Diagnosed with deep-vein thrombosis just before Christmas, Whitmore has begun the recovery process and will not play again this season. While his absence won’t affect fantasy basketball, it does ensure some of Washington’s younger wings will have more opportunities later in the season.
  • SAC Forward-Center #11
Domantas Sabonis (knee) was a full participant in Thursday’s practice.
Sabonis’ full participation in Thursday’s practice is a clear sign that he’s on his way to a return to game action. And that could happen as soon as Friday’s game against the Wizards. While Sabonis will likely be on a minutes restriction, his return will negatively affect the fantasy values of Maxime Raynaud and Precious Achiuwa. While Raynaud is worth holding onto in dynasty leagues, redraft league managers should begin seeking alternatives for Week 14.
  • MEM Guard #24
Cam Spencer recorded seven points (2-of-7 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), seven rebounds and 11 assists in Thursday’s loss to the Magic.
Spencer didn’t have a great day shooting the basketball, but he still offered excellent value in rebounds and assists. The second-year guard, who only committed one turnover, has hit double digits in assists in three consecutive games. With Ja Morant, Ty Jerome and Scotty Pippen Jr. all injured, and the former the subject of trade rumors, the point guard role belongs to Spencer for now. He’s worth rostering in deep leagues as long as Memphis is shorthanded on the perimeter.
  • MEM Forward-Center #7
Santi Aldama amassed 18 points (6-of-11 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), five rebounds, one assist, one steal and four three-pointers in Thursday’s loss to the Magic.
Since scoring a career-high 37 points in a December 23 win over the Jazz, Aldama had not recorded more than 15 points in any game. That changed on Thursday in Berlin, as the Grizzlies forward/center hit all four of his three-point attempts. Zach Edey’s (ankle) absence has opened up additional opportunities for Aldama. Still, the impact has been muted since Jock Landale (6/5/1/1/1 with one three-pointer) has been the replacement in the starting lineup.
