Isaiah Collier recorded 10 points (4-of-11 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), five rebounds and 11 assists in Thursday’s loss to the Mavericks.
For the fourth time this season, Collier reached double digits in assists during Thursday’s defeat. The double-double was his fourth, but the few fantasy managers who roster Collier aren’t usually looking for points. He and Walter Clayton Jr. (15/2/8/1 with one three-pointer) played at least 29 minutes in Dallas, and that’s possible due to head coach Will Hardy’s willingness to play multiple point guards at the same time. If that continues, that’s good news for Collier, Clayton and Keyonte George.
  • SAC Guard #18

Russell Westbrook (foot) is out for Friday’s game against the Celtics.
Westbrook will miss a second consecutive game due to a sore right foot, which he tweaked during Tuesday’s loss to the Knicks. Dennis Schröder will remain in the starting lineup, and he’s worth streaming while the Kings are without their starting point guard.
Rookies Flagg and Knueppel ball out in matchup
Numbers on the Board discusses the rookie showdown between former Duke teammates Cooper Flagg and Kon Knueppel both having big games last night.
  • SAC Forward-Center #11
Domantas Sabonis (knee) is out for Friday’s game against the Celtics.
Friday’s game is the second in as many nights for the Kings, who lost to the 76ers on Thursday. Sabonis will sit after logging 28 minutes, freeing up a spot in the starting lineup. Maxime Raynaud is the most likely replacement, with fellow rookie Dylan Cardwell picking up a few additional minutes off the bench.
  • BOS Center #88
Neemias Queta (illness) is available for Friday’s game against the Kings.
After sitting out Wednesday’s loss to the Hawks, Queta is good to go for Friday night. Amari Williams started against Atlanta but only played 15 minutes, with Luka Garza logging 24 minutes off the bench. Williams has been sent to the G League, so he will be inactive, which bodes well for Queta’s playing time.
  • BOS Guard-Forward #7
Jaylen Brown (hamstring, knee) is out for Friday’s game against the Kings.
Brown is dealing with multiple lower-body injuries and will not play on Friday. Baylor Scheierman was the replacement the last time that Brown missed a game, playing 20 minutes in a January 12 loss to the Pacers. Scheierman is not a must-stream player in most fantasy leagues.
  • WAS Forward #22
Khris Middleton (knee) is out for Friday’s game against the Lakers.
Friday’s game is the second in as many nights for the Wizards, who beat the Bucks on Thursday. So, it’s unsurprising that Middleton won’t be available. Will Riley was the replacement for the most recent game that the veteran forward missed, and that may also be the case on Friday. Riley isn’t a must-stream, but he is worth watching ahead of the post-trade deadline portion of the schedule.
  • WAS Guard #12
Tre Johnson (ankle) is out for Friday’s game against the Lakers.
Johnson sprained his left ankle during the second quarter of Thursday’s win over the Bucks. Bub Carrington replaced him in the lineup to begin the third quarter, potentially a sign that he’ll be the replacement on Friday. If so, Carrington is worth streaming in deep leagues.
  • WAS Forward #35
Marvin Bagley (back) is out for Friday’s game against the Lakers.
Friday’s game will be the fifth that Bagley has missed with a thoracic strain. Alex Sarr is absent from the injury report, so he’ll log heavy minutes as the starter.
  • UTA Forward-Center #42
Kevin Love (illness) is out for Friday’s game against the Nets.
Love will miss a second consecutive game, this one due to illness after resting on Wednesday. The Jazz won’t have Jusuf Nurkić (illness) either, so expect a heavy dose of Kyle Filipowski.
  • UTA Center #30
Jusuf Nurkić (illness) is out for Friday’s game against the Nets.
Nurkić was initially questionable for Friday’s game. With Kevin Love (illness) also out, the Jazz will likely turn to Kyle Filipowski to serve as the starting center. Given the lack of depth, he would be worth rostering.
  • NYK Guard #2
Miles McBride (ankle) is now doubtful for Friday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
McBride is on track to miss a second consecutive game due to left ankle injury management. He sprained the ankle in early December, which cost the Knicks’ guard three weeks. Landry Shamet and Tyler Kolek can absorb some of the minutes that would have gone to McBride, with both playing at least 20 minutes in Wednesday’s win over the Raptors.
