Podziemski had an excellent night at the office, missing one shot and recording a nice overall stat line. However, the reserve role has not been the best for him as far as fantasy value is concerned. Over the past two weeks, Podziemski has been ranked outside the top-150 in per-game value. While deep-league managers may want to hold onto him, managers in 12-team leagues need to seek alternatives, preferably via trade if possible.

Queta has been one of the biggest surprises in fantasy basketball thus far, using a solid run with Portugal and EuroBasket as a springboard into locking down the starting center role in Boston. A top-100 player in nine-cat formats, the 7-footer finished Wednesday’s victory a rebound shy of a double-double while also blocking four shots. Over the past two weeks, Queta, who’s rostered in just 40 percent of Yahoo! leagues, has been a top-50 player.

Jaylen Brown

BOS Guard-Forward #7

Jaylen Brown finished Wednesday’s win over the Pacers with 30 points (11-of-22 FGs, 7-of-9 FTs), 10 rebounds, five assists, three steals and one three-pointer.

Walker was dominant in Wednesday’s victory, finishing with at least 30 points, 10 rebounds and five assists for the second time this season. Named an All-Star Game starter on Monday, the Celtics’ wing has a case to be included in early Most Valuable Player conversations, given his production and Boston exceeding expectations. In eight-cat formats, Brown is closing in on top-25 per-game value.

Jarace Walker

IND Forward #5

Jarace Walker amassed 19 points (7-of-14 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, two assists, two steals and three three-pointers in Wednesday’s loss to the Celtics.

A double-digit scorer in five of his last seven appearances, Walker’s 19 points were the most in a game for him since late-November. While the third-year forward isn’t a trustworthy fantasy option right now, he’s someone who could be more valuable during the “silly season.” Given where the Pacers are in the standings, young players like Walker shouldn’t lack for opportunities after the All-Star break.

Pascal Siakam

IND Forward #43

Pascal Siakam recorded 32 points (12-of-21 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), 10 rebounds, four assists and four three-pointers in Wednesday’s loss to the Celtics.

While Siakam has scored at least 21 points in five straight appearances, Wednesday’s was his first with at least 30 since a January 8 win over the Hornets. While it has been tough sledding for the Pacers’ forward, he’s managed to provide top-100 per-game value in eight- and nine-cat formats. That doesn’t align with Siakam’s ADP (30), but things could be far worse for those who have him rostered.

Miles McBride

NYK Guard #2

Miles McBride recorded 14 points (5-of-10 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, four assists, one steal and three three-pointers in Wednesday’s win over the Nets.

After totaling 48 points in losses to the Warriors and Suns, McBride crashed back to earth on Monday with a five-point performance against the Mavericks. He got back on track Wednesday night, shooting 50 percent from the field and finishing a blocked shot shy of a complete line. With Jalen Brunson healthy, McBride’s fantasy upside is limited, but he can still be of value to deep-league managers.

Landry Shamet

NYK Guard #44

Landry Shamet amassed 18 points (6-of-7 FGs), one rebound, two assists, two steals, one block and six three-pointers in Wednesday’s win over the Nets.

Shamet was red-hot from beyond the arc on Wednesday, making all six of his attempts on the night. While his role doesn’t make him a viable option in most fantasy leagues, the Knicks’ reserve has averaged 2.3 three-pointers per game since returning from a shoulder injury. Shamet will only be worth a look on nights when the Knicks are shorthanded on the wings.

Jalen Brunson

NYK Guard #11

Jalen Brunson finished Wednesday’s win over the Nets with 20 points (8-of-17 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), four rebounds, five assists and one three-pointer.

Wednesday went as well as it could have for Brunson and the Knicks, who entered their game with the Nets 2-9 in their last 11 games. The Knicks set a franchise record for margin of victory (54 points), and Brunson didn’t have to over-exert himself. Of course, fantasy managers would have hoped for a more competitive game, as the point guard may have logged more than 31 minutes. Saturday’s game against the 76ers stands to be far more competitive.

Michael Porter

BKN Forward #17

Michael Porter Jr. finished Wednesday’s loss to the Knicks with 12 points (4-of-14 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), six rebounds, one assist and three three-pointers.

Wednesday was a night to forget for Porter and the Nets, who were on the wrong end of a 120-66 outcome. Due to the nature of the game, MPJ played only 26 minutes and didn’t shoot well. He and the Nets will look to redeem themselves on Friday when they host the Celtics.

Kon Knueppel

CHA Guard-Forward #7

Kon Knueppel recorded 21 points (8-of-21 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), 11 rebounds, one assist, one steal and two three-pointers in Wednesday’s loss to the Cavaliers.

For the second time in three games, Kneuppel grabbed 11 rebounds, pushing his double-double tally to four. The Hornets’ rookie has been a top-50 player over the past two weeks, remaining one of the most productive rookies in fantasy basketball. If there comes a point when the Hornets decide to sit LaMelo Ball, Kneuppel is one of the players who stands to benefit because of his ability to play on or off the ball.
