Bub Carrington finished with 13 points (4-of-14 FGs), two rebounds, two assists, three steals, two blocks, three three-pointers and five turnovers against the Nuggets on Thursday.
Carrington remained in the starting lineup for a fourth straight game, and while he was inefficient, he was able to pour in more counting stats. This time, it was the defensive production that set him apart. Carrington’s never been a great source of steals and blocks, but he was able to provide an unexpected boost in this game. Managers shouldn’t expect that to continue, but he has played 38.3 minutes per game over his last four games as a starter, which is an encouraging sign for his value.
