Evan Mobley (calf) will be re-evaluated in 1-3 weeks.
Mobley suffered a calf injury in Monday’s game against the Magic. A Tuesday MRI revealed a left calf strain. The 24-year-old center is set to miss the next 1-3 weeks before he’s re-evaluated. Dean Wade should continue to start for Cleveland with Mobley sidelined and every Cavaliers starter should see a boost in usage.
  • DEN Forward #32

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that Aaron Gordon (hamstring) will be re-evaluated in four to six weeks.
During Denver’s January 23 win over the Bucks, Gordon aggravated a strained right hamstring that he initially suffered in November. He’ll be out for at least four to six weeks before being re-evaluated, so there’s no guarantee that Gordon will be fully healthy in time for the playoff weeks of some fantasy leagues. Spencer Jones has been the replacement in the starting lineup, and that’s unlikely to change anytime soon.
Daniels holds 'tremendous upside' with growth
Noah Rubin analyzes Dyson Daniels' production for the Atlanta Hawks after notching a season-high five steals against the Celtics.
  • ORL Forward #22
Franz Wagner (ankle) is out for Friday’s game against the Raptors.
Friday’s game will be the fifth that Wagner has missed due to injury management for a high left ankle sprain. How long he’ll remain out is unknown. However, what is known is that Anthony Black will remain in the starting lineup, and the third-year guard should be rostered in 12-team leagues by now.
  • POR Center #26
Duop Reath (foot) has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
Due to a right foot injury, Reath has been out since January 18. According to the Trail Blazers, he has undergone season-ending surgery after imaging revealed a stress fracture. Having averaged 8.2 minutes in his 32 appearances, Reath’s absence will be most impactful on fellow reserve Yang Hansen. However, while he is now the unquestioned third center on the depth chart, Hansen is unlikely to get the minutes needed to affect fantasy basketball.
  • POR Guard #00
Scoot Henderson (hamstring) cleared for full-contact practices.
Henderson has missed the first 48 games of the season with a torn left hamstring, but he is now in the final stages of his recovery. The 3rd overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft will need a couple more weeks to adjust to the pace and physicality of a full-contact practice before we takes the court, but a mid-February return seems likely.
  • PHX Guard #4
Jalen Green (hamstring) is out for Thursday’s game against the Pistons.
Green has now missed three straight games with a hamstring injury after missing 33 games earlier in the season. With Devin Booker (ankle) also out, Grayson Allen should step into a bigger role. Collin Gillespie (hand) would too if he’s cleared to play.
  • IND Guard-Forward #00
Sam Amico of Hoops Wire reports that Benedict Mathurin “feels like one of the more realistic young names to watch” heading into the NBA trade deadline.
Mathurin has dealt with a right thumb sprain and turf toe, which has limited him to 25 games this season. However, he returned on Monday and is averaging 17.7 points per game in 31.8 minutes this season. Considering the Pacers “are not eager to hand Mathurin a big restricted free agent extension” this offseason, they could look to trade the former lottery pick now or wait to complete a sign-and-trade in the offseason.
  • CHA Forward #2
Grant Williams is out for Thursday’s game against the Mavericks with right knee injury management.
The Hornets have been cautious with Williams as he returns from offseason knee surgery. He’s averaging just under 19 minutes per game over the last two weeks, so his role isn’t a huge one to fill. Charlotte will likely give more minutes to Tidjane Salaun.
  • DET Guard #8
Caris LeVert (illness) has been downgraded to out for Thursday’s game against the Suns.
LeVert has now missed Detroit’s last five games. That should continue to result in more playing time for Ron Holland II and Daniss Jenkins, but none of them are on the fantasy radar in most league types.
  • MIA Guard #45
Davion Mitchell (shoulder) is out for Thursday’s game against the Bulls.
This will now be five straight missed games for Mitchell. Kasparas Jakučionis will continue to fill in as the starting point guard with Mitchell and Tyler Herro (ribs) both sidelined. Jakučionis remains off the fantasy radar.
  • MIN Guard #10
Mike Conley is out for Thursday’s game against the Thunder with back spasms.
Conley is averaging just under 20 minutes a game for the Wolves over the last two weeks, but is not a huge part of their offensive production. Bones Hyland will likely pick up extra minutes off the bench tonight, but his tough matchup against the Thunder makes it difficult to stream him in fantasy.
