  • HOU Forward #2

Dorian Finney-Smith (injury management) is out on Thursday against the Hawks.
Finney-Smith played 19 scoreless minutes in yesterday’s game against the Spurs, but it was always the plan for him to then sit on Thursday with the Rockets being cautious about his ankle injury. DFS should get more minutes with Steven Adams out for the season, but he doesn’t have much fantasy value.
  • SAS Forward #10

Jeremy Sochan (quad) has been ruled out against the Hornets on Saturday.
Sochan will miss a second straight game, but that won’t have much if an impact on San Antonio’s rotation. He hasn’t seen the floor much when healthy, and Devin Vassell is now healthy. Sochan could make a fantasy impact for a different team if he is traded at the deadline, but he isn’t worth rostering as a Spur.
Hartenstein makes OKC 'competent' rebounding team
Noah Rubin unpacks Isaiah Hartenstein's return from injury for the Thunder against the Timberwolves, detailing how he can improve the team's performance in rebounds.
  • MIA Guard #45
Davion Mitchell (shoulder) is doubtful to play against the Bulls on Saturday.
Mitchell has missed the last five games for Miami and is now expected to make it six absences in a row. Kasparas Jakučionis should continue to start, but his minutes have been too low to make much of an impact as a streaming option. Dru Smith should play more minutes, but his value is often tied to steals.
  • MIA Guard #24
Norman Powell (personal) has been ruled out against the Bulls on Saturday.
Powell has been a big part of what Miami does on offense, especially with Tyler Herro sidelined. In his absence, one of Simone Fontecchio or Jaime Jaquez Jr. will likely replace him in the starting unit. Jaquez holds far more upside for fantasy managers whether he starts or comes off the bench.
  • DET Guard #8
Caris LeVert (illness) is out for Friday’s game against the Warriors.
LeVert is set to miss his sixth game in a row with an illness. Ron Holland II and Daniss Jenkins will continue to see rotation minutes off the bench in LeVert’s absence, though the pair combined for just six points in Thursday’s loss against the Suns.
  • DET Guard #2
Cade Cunningham (hip) is probable to play against the Warriors on Friday.
Cunningham scored 26 points in Thursday’s loss to the Suns, and he should be able to suit up once again despite managing some soreness in his hip. He has scored at least 20 points in three straight games and will look to keep that going against Golden State in the final game of this three-game road trip.
  • CHI Guard #0
Coby White (calf) is questionable to play against the Heat on Saturday.
White continues to manage this calf injury, but he has been available for the past two weeks. If something changes this weekend, with Chicago playing in Miami on both Saturday and Sunday, Kevin Huerter and Ayo Dosunmu would take on extra minutes.
  • CHI Center #9
Nikola Vučević (rest) is doubtful for Saturday’s game against the Heat.
Saturday’s game is the first of two in as many nights that the Bulls will play in Miami, so they’re unlikely to have Vooch for one of them. Rookie Lachlan Olbrich, who has spent most of his time in the G League, is not on the injury report, so he should be available to play rotation minutes. However, he is not worth the streaming risk. The best-case scenario for the Bulls is that Jalen Smith (calf) will be available after leaving Thursday’s loss to the Heat in the second quarter.
  • CHI Forward-Center #25
Jalen Smith (calf) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Heat.
Smith started Thursday’s loss to the Heat for the injured Josh Giddey, but he was forced to leave before halftime due to tightness in his right calf. If Smith and Giddey remain out on Saturday, Ayo Dosunmu is the player most likely to fill the void. He would be worth streaming in that role.
  • CHI Guard #3
Josh Giddey (hamstring) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Heat.
Giddey was held out of Thursday’s loss to the Heat. While Jalen Smith moved into the starting lineup, he exited during the first half due to a calf injury. Ayo Dosunmu started the third quarter, and he would likely retain that role if Giddey and Smith can’t play on Saturday.
  • PHX Guard #4
Jalen Green (hamstring) is not on the injury report for Friday’s game against the Cavaliers.
After missing Phoenix’s last three games, Green will be available on Friday. Given the amount of time that he’s missed, the Suns’ guard will be restricted in how much he plays. Grayson Allen should remain in the starting lineup until that changes.
