P.J. Washington returned to the lineup on Tuesday and finished with 13 points (4-of-11 FGs), two rebounds, three assists and one three-pointer against the Hornets.
Following a three-game absence with an ankle injury, Washington was back in the starting unit against Charlotte. He played 28 minutes, which is slightly below his season average, though this was a blowout. He wasn’t very productive, and he didn’t register any defensive stats, which have been his bread and butter this season. However, he should continue to play a big role for Dallas, with this six-game road trip continuing in Orlando on Thursday.
  • SAC Guard #22

Devin Carter (calf) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Hornets.
Carter’s coming off the best performance of his NBA career, having scored a career-high 24 points in 16 minutes in Tuesday’s win over the Pacers. With Russell Westbrook (quad) also out, the Kings will rely more on Nique Clifford and Killian Hayes on Wednesday.
Giddey, Buzelis catching fire late in the season
Eric Samulski dissects Josh Giddey's third triple-double in the last four games and Matas Buzelis exploding for 41 points, staking their claims as must-roster fantasy players down the stretch of the season.
  • SAC Guard #0
Malik Monk (ankle) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Hornets.
Monk exited Tuesday’s win over the Pacers with a right ankle injury, and he won’t play on Wednesday. Daeqwon Plowden played 31 minutes off the bench, and he may be in line for a similar workload against the Hornets.
  • Russell Westbrook (quad) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Hornets.
Wednesday’s game is the second game in as many nights for the Kings, who beat the Pacers on Tuesday. Even with Westbrook playing just 25 minutes, he won’t play against the Hornets. With Devin Carter also out, Nique Clifford should get more time on the ball, and more minutes are available for Killian Hayes.
  • MIN Guard #13
Ayo Dosunmu (thumb) is questionable to play against the Clippers on Thursday.
Dosunmu dealt with an injury in his right thumb earlier this season, and it has popped back up again. If he ends up missing this matchup with the Clippers, Bones Hyland, Jaylen Clark and Terrence Shannon Jr. would likely be in line for a few extra minutes, with Hyland playing the largest role off the bench.
  • CLE Guard-Forward #2
Max Strus has been assigned to the Cleveland Charge.
Strus’ rehab will continue with the Cavaliers’ G League affiliate. Strus was able to participate in practice last week, so this is likely just an opportunity to get him more reps while the Cavs play a game in Orlando. Strus could return for one of their two games against the Mavericks this weekend, though his role will likely be limited.
  • GSW Guard #30
Stephen Curry (knee) will be re-evaluated in 10 days.
Though Curry has returned to on-court work, he will be re-evaluated in March 21 before deciding when he will return to the lineup. He has already missed 15 games, with the Warriors going 5-10 during that stretch, and he will miss at least five more. Gui Santos will continue to start in his place, with extra minutes and shots to go around for everyone.
  • Dorian Finney-Smith (ankle) is out against the Nuggets on Wednesday.
DFS still isn’t playing back-to-backs, so after suiting up on Tuesday, he will sit for this game. Josh Okogie should take on extra minutes off the bench with DFS sidelined.
  • NYK Guard #3
Josh Hart (knee) has been downgraded to doubtful to play against the Jazz on Wednesday.
Hart was initially listed as questionable but is now expected to miss this game. Both Landry Shamet and Mohamed Diawara are candidates to replace Hart in the starting unit, though both should see a bump in minutes regardless.
  • Trayce Jackson-Davis (finger) is questionable to play against the Pelicans on Wednesday.
Jackson-Davis could be back after a one-game absence, but he has barely seen the floor when available. His status won’t alter the Raptors’ rotation.
  • Collin Murray-Boyles (thumb) will remain out for Wednesday’s game against the Pelicans.
This will be a sixth straight absence for the rookie, with no end in sight. Jakob Poeltl will start if he plays, with Sandro Mamukelashvili filling out the minutes behind Poeltl. Jonathan Mogbo should fill out any other minutes down low with CMB out.
