Collin Gillespie accounted for 17 points (6-of-10 FGs), six rebounds, nine assists, one steal and five three-pointers in Tuesday’s win over the Kings.
Gillespie has been one of the league’s most improved players, with his production a reason the Suns are in the thick of the playoff chase despite not having Devin Booker, Dillon Brooks, or Jalen Green for extended periods at various points this season. Gillespie was responsible for Phoenix’s first six points on Tuesday, knocking down two of his five three-pointers. Shooting 60 percent from the field, he also offered excellent value in the rebound and assist categories.
