CJ McCollum had 27 points (10-of-21 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), one rebound, five assists, one steal and five three-pointers in Wednesday’s win over the Pistons.
McCollum has now had at least 23 points in four of his last seven games. The 34-year-old shooting guard has provided seventh-round per game value over the last two weeks. McCollum takes on more of a scoring role with Jalen Johnson back and gets two more chances to put up points with the Hawks playing four games this week.

Norman Powell (illness) is out for Sunday’s game against the Pacers.
Initially listed on the injury report due to back spasms, Powell has been ruled out because of an upper respiratory illness. His absence opens up a spot in the starting lineup, with Pelle Larsson being the most likely replacement.
Highlights: Castle earns triple-double vs. Bucks
Stephon Castle was all over the court in Milwaukee, helping San Antonio get a win with 22 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.
  • UTA Forward #19
Ace Bailey amassed 13 points (5-of-15 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), six rebounds, two assists, three blocks and one three-pointer in Saturday’s loss to the Suns.
Bailey did not have a good night shooting the basketball, as he was 4-of-12 from two-point range and committed four turnovers. However, fantasy managers will be pleased with the rebounds and blocks. Over his last five games, the rookie has blocked 12 shots, providing value that some may not have anticipated. Since the All-Star break, Bailey has provided fifth-round value in eight-cat formats. As long as he is available, the rookie needs to be rostered in 12-team leagues.
  • UTA Forward #28
Brice Sensabaugh accounted for 26 points (11-of-21 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), two rebounds, two assists and two three-pointers in Saturday’s loss to the Suns.
Limited to 13 points in Friday’s loss to the Nuggets, Sensabaugh doubled that number on Saturday. While he didn’t offer a great deal beyond the points and field-goal percentage, the third-year Jazz forward shot 9-of-16 from inside the arc. Utah plays four games in Week 23, and Sensabaugh can step up for deep-league managers as he continues to start.
  • UTA Center #22
Kyle Filipowski tallied 26 points (10-of-14 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and two three-pointers in Saturdday’s loss to the Suns.
After putting up 25 points in Friday’s loss to the Nuggets, Filipowski was one point better on Saturday. The second-year center shot just over 71 percent from the field, and the overall stat line was excellent. Filipowski playing both games of the back-to-back at this point in the season is encouraging for fantasy managers, especially since Utah’s Week 23 is a four-game week and doesn’t include a back-to-back.
  • PHX Forward #11
Oso Ighodaro finished Saturday’s win over the Jazz with 13 points (6-of-6 FGs, 1-of-4 FTs), eight rebounds and two assists.
Ighodaro didn’t miss a shot from the field on Saturday; such is life when you’re able to play off of guards who can set you up around the basketball consistently. While his fantasy value has remained relatively low, the second-year center has done enough to merit rostering in deep leagues while the Suns await Mark Williams’ return from a foot injury. Ighodaro’s role for Week 23 should remain the same, which is good for those who have been rostering him.
  • PHX Guard #8
Grayson Allen accounted for 19 points (7-of-16 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), three rebounds, three assists, two steals and four three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the Jazz.
On a night when starter Collin Gillespie (0/3/7/1/1) missed all eight of his three-point attempts, Allen’s shooting off the bench was critical. He made four of his 11 three-point attempts while also recording a complete stat line in one of his better all-around performances since the All-Star break. Allen has played 23 and 21 minutes in two games since returning from a knee injury, and his minutes are likely to increase moving forward. In that scenario, Gillespie’s opportunities may take a hit.
  • PHX Guard #4
Jalen Green amassed 31 points (13-of-22 FGs), six rebounds, three assists and five three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the Jazz.
Green was outstanding on Saturday, shooting over 50 percent from the field and committing no turnovers. Just as good for the Suns was that he only needed to play 22 minutes, as the Suns outscored Utah by 18 points in the first quarter and remained in control throughout. While his category league value has remained low since the All-Star break, Green has been a solid option in points leagues. That should not change in Week 23, with the Suns playing four games.
  • PHX Guard #1
Devin Booker tallied 26 points (8-of-14 FGs, 9-of-10 FTs), three rebounds, eight assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer in Saturday’s win over the Jazz.
Booker and the Suns made short work of the Jazz, outscoring the visitors by a 39-21 margin in the first quarter and never looking back. He’s scored at least 22 points in three straight and 12 of his last 13 games, picking up the production at the right time. Since the All-Star break, Booker has been a top-50 player in eight-cat formats. The Suns hit the road for all four of their Week 23 games, starting with a back-to-back on Monday and Tuesday against the Grizzlies and the Magic.
  • CHI Guard #2
Collin Sexton recorded 26 points (6-of-14 FGs, 11-of-13 FTs), one rebound, two assists, two steals and three three-pointers in Saturday’s loss to the Grizzlies.
Sexton, who has scored at least 22 points in three of his last four appearances, nearly won Saturday’s game. However, his basket came after the time expired, so the Bulls lost by a point. Given how much he has been used recently, Sexton is worth rostering in deep leagues, especially with the Bulls playing four games in Week 23. Since the All-Star break, he has provided ninth-round value in eight-cat formats.
  • CHI Guard #3
Josh Giddey amassed 18 points (6-of-11 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), 13 rebounds, 10 assists, two steals, three blocks and one three-pointer in Saturday’s loss to the Grizzlies.
Giddey, who has recorded at least 10 assists in five straight games, finished Saturday’s defeat with his 13th triple-double of the season. Add in the “stocks,” and this was an excellent end to Week 22 for managers rostering Giddey. Chicago plays four games in Week 23, and it’s fair to wonder how much he’ll play moving forward. Head coach Billy Donovan has said that it would take a directive from the front office to change his approach, so Giddey managers should be fine for the time being.
