Devin Booker finished Wednesday’s win over the Mavericks with 37 points (13-of-27 FGs, 9-of-9 FTs), five rebounds, nine assists and two three-pointers.

Booker, as usual, did quite a bit for the Suns on Wednesday. He led the team in scoring, nearly reaching the 40-point mark, contributed on the glass, and fell one assist shy of a double-double. The versatile combo guard has really turned things up a notch down the stretch of the season; he’s scored at least 30 points in three straight games and five of the last six overall. The Suns are locked into the seventh seed in the Western Conference and will host either the Clippers or Trail Blazers in the Play-In Tournament. Before then, Booker and the Suns will face the Lakers on Friday and the Thunder on Sunday to close the regular season.

Andrew Wiggins posted 13 points (4-of-7 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), two rebounds, one assist, two steals and one three-pointer in Friday’s exhibition against the Magic.

Wiggins was one of three expected starters to play for the Heat in Friday’s preseason finale, as Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo were ruled out. He played 15 minutes in Orlando, capping what was a good preseason for the veteran wing. Wiggins shot a career-best 41.4 percent from three last season, and the addition of Antetokounmpo should open things up even more for him offensively. If Wiggins can hit threes at a similar clip this season, he should be a reliable fantasy option, regardless of league format.

Drew Dinsick and Jay Croucher break down the NBA Rookie of the Year award market with several high caliber draft picks that will get plenty of usage in their debut seasons.

Nikola Jović finished Friday’s exhibition against the Magic with 12 points (4-of-6 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, one assist, one block and two three-pointers.

With Giannis Antetokounmpo being scratched a few hours before tipoff, Jović started Miami’s preseason finale. He and the other starters didn’t play after halftime, but the young forward was solid in his 15 minutes on the floor. At best, Jović is worth considering in the later rounds of a draft. His viability as a fantasy option this season will depend on Antetokounmpo’s health.

Jabari Walker with 13 points (4-of-8 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), four rebounds, two steals in 19 minutes against the Celtics.

Jabari Walker has proven that he can play in an NBA rotation and he should have a role on this Philadelphia team. While Dean Wade will likely start when there’s injuries, Walker will still be important in deeper leagues as a consistent producer that will likely get a bump when there are injuries.

Joel Embiid with 27 points (7-of-13 FGs, 11-of-13 FTs), 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, and two 3-pointers on Friday.

The 76ers made a concerted effort to get Embiid going after a poor outing against the Nets last Thursday. The question is more about how he will fit in the offense during the regular season given his health issues, and we’ll find out more next Tuesday against the Knicks. This team’s future is heavily dependent on the health of Joel Embiid.

Jamal Cain posted 14 points (6-of-7 FGs), five rebounds and two three-pointers in Friday’s exhibition against the Heat.

Cain earned consistent rotation minutes in the final month of the 2025-26 season, including starting the final three games of Orlando’s first-round playoff series against the Pistons. He appears well-positioned to play consistent minutes in 2026-27, and Friday’s performance was a good way to end the preseason. Cain is worth a look in very deep fantasy leagues, and he may be worth streaming at times due to injury.

Hugo Gonzalez has 21 points (6-of-10 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs), 4 rebounds, 3 assists, a steal, and three 3-pointers against 76ers.

The Celtics showed how much they wanted to prioritize Hugo when it got out that they didn’t want to trade him in a Giannis trade. Hugo will get ample opportunities this year to put up numbers. His ability to pass the ball gives high level effort on the boards and on defense, with a growing offensive game, there’s the framework for a good fantasy player if he continues to develop.

Chris Cenac puts up 12 points (6-of-10 FGs), 8 rebounds, an assist, a steal, a block, in 19 minutes against the 76ers.

While Chris Cenac is not likely to impact fantasy leagues this season, it’s nice to see what he was able to do in the start. Embiid was a difficult matchup who got him into foul trouble. Cenac has the tools to be an impactful player, but his decision making held him back in college. He likes to being coached hard, which will make him a good fit for Mazzulla. In dynasty leagues, you will have to be patient this year and pay attention to flashes in the G League this year.

Jalen Suggs finished Friday’s exhibition against the Heat with eight points (2-of-5 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), three rebounds, four assists, one steal and two three-pointers.

After playing 13 minutes in his first appearance of the preseason on Tuesday, Suggs logged 21 on Friday. The final stat line wasn’t particularly impressive, but Suggs shot 2-of-4 from three and dished out four assists without turning the ball over. If he can keep the turnovers in check and stay healthy, Suggs should be a solid fantasy asset. And with Anthony Black still recovering from a sprained ankle, the Magic may need a little more from their starting point guard early in the season.

Nikola Vučević recorded 13 points (5-of-11 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), seven rebounds, two assists and two steals in Friday’s exhibition against the Heat.

Playing in front of the Orlando crowd in a Magic uniform for the first time since the 2020-21 season, Vučević came off the bench and played 23 minutes on Friday. Wendell Carter Jr. (two points, one rebound, and two assists in 15 minutes) picked up four fouls in the first half, which helped, and it was another reminder that using a late-round pick on Vučević would be wise. He’ll have a lower fantasy ceiling than if he were a starter, but Vooch’s playing time shouldn’t be an issue in his return to Orlando.

Caleb Love (head) goes to the locker room after suffering a head injury.

Caleb Love hit his head on the ground and went to the locker room. He likely isn’t going to be a factor for fantasy managers in most formats.
