Tari Eason produced 20 points (7-of-10 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), eight rebounds, two assists, five steals, one block and two three-pointers in Sunday’s Game 4 win over the Lakers.
Eason was one of four Rockets to record at least three steals in Game 4, and the team finished with a staggering 19 on the night. His five steals were a playoff career-high for the Rockets forward, who also rebounded nicely from poor shooting in Games 2 and 3. In those defeats, Eason totaled 15 points on 6-of-23 shooting from the field. And with Kevin Durant (ankle) injured, Houston can’t afford to have Eason struggling with his shot. They’ll hope that he can carry his Game 4 performance into Game 5 on Wednesday.

OG Anunoby recorded a double-double on Tuesday with 17 points (5-of-8 FGs), 10 rebounds, one assist, two steals, one block and two three-pointers against the Hawks.
Anunoby has been excellent all series, and he has made his presence felt on both ends of the floor. He has averaged 20 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.4 steals, 1.2 blocks and 2.6 triples while shooting 56.9 percent from the floor through the first five games, which includes a double-double in both Games 4 and 5. He should continue to make a massive impact in Game 6 on Thursday as the Knicks look to close out the series.
Highlights: Knicks leave no doubt in Game 5
The New York Knicks held the Atlanta Hawks to under 100 points for the second-straight game to take a 3-2 series lead.
  • NYK Center-Forward #32
Karl-Anthony Towns posted a full line on Tuesday with 16 points (5-of-7 FGs), 14 rebounds, six assists, two steals, two blocks and one three-pointer against the Hawks.
The Hawks haven’t had much of an answer for KAT during this series, but the Knicks have leaned even heavier on him over the last two games, specifically as a playmaker, which has really opened things up for New York. They’ll continue to lean on him in Game 6 on Thursday, which should lead to a lot more box score production for him, and if things go how they did in this game, that’ll be enough to close out the series.
  • NYK Guard #11
Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 39 points (15-of-23 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs), three rebounds, eight assists and three three-pointers in a 126-97 win over the Hawks in Game 5 on Tuesday.
Brunson has made some big plays in this series and has had strong stretches, but his production overall has been subpar. However, this was by far his best performance, and the Hawks simply didn’t have an answer. He dominated this game and hit multiple big shots in the fourth quarter to put this game away and give the Knicks all the momentum heading into Game 6. If Brunson is playing at this level, the Knicks will have a chance to make a deep run this postseason.
  • ATL Forward-Center #17
Onyeka Okongwu posted a full line on Tuesday with 16 points (6-of-10 FGs), five rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and two three-pointers against the Knicks.
Okongwu continues to produce stat lines that play well for fantasy managers. Unfortunately, he has struggled to compete down low against Karl-Anthony Towns and Mitchell Robinson, which is why the Knicks outrebounded the Hawks 48-27. Okongwu is effective in many ways, but his struggles in the paint against bigger players have been evident in this series. He’ll need to be better in Game 6 for the Hawks to have a chance.
  • ATL Guard #5
Dyson Daniels contributed 17 points (7-of-11 FGs), two rebounds, five assists and two three-pointers against the Knicks on Tuesday.
Daniels has made a big impact on this series for the Hawks, but he hasn’t done much scoring. However, that changed in this game, though it didn’t do much to help the Hawks’ chances. He didn’t get any steals in this game, but he was still making his presence felt on the defensive end, even if it didn’t do much to slow down Jalen Brunson. He’ll need to make more of an impact for the Hawks to stay alive in Game 6 on Thursday.
  • ATL Forward #1
Jalen Johnson recorded a double-double on Tuesday with 18 points (7-of-15 FGs), 10 rebounds, six assists, two steals and one three-pointer in a 126-97 loss to the Knicks in Game 5.
Johnson struggled mightily in Game 4 on Saturday, and while he was more effective in this one, it wasn’t enough to get the Hawks on the right side of the scoreboard. He was better, but he hasn’t played to the level that Atlanta needs their All-Star to play at. He’ll need to make more of an impact on both ends of the floor in Game 6 on Thursday for the Hawks to avoid elimination.
  • BOS Center #88
Neemias Queta dominated the glass on Tuesday with eight points (4-of-8 FGs), 14 rebounds and one assist against the 76ers.
Queta has had an awesome season, but he hasn’t done much in this series. However, he reached double-digit rebounds for the first time in the series, though it wasn’t enough for the Celtics to close it out. Queta will continue to start and play a significant role, but his impact will likely continue to be limited.
  • BOS Guard-Forward #7
Jaylen Brown finished with 22 points (9-of-23 FGs), five rebounds, five assists, one steal and one three-pointer against the 76ers on Tuesday.
Brown continues to pour in the points, but the efficiency simply wasn’t there in this game. This was the first time this series he shot below 40 percent from the floor. Brown has had a fantastic season, and he should be able to bounce back in Game 6 on Thursday, which will be their next opportunity to advance to the second round.
  • BOS Forward-Guard #0
Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 24 points (8-of-19 FGs, 4-of-7 FTs), 16 rebounds, four assists, three steals and four three-pointers in a 113-97 loss to the 76ers in Game 5 on Tuesday.
Though it was a subpar shooting night for him, Tatum was still able to make a big impact in this game. He had a point-assist double-double in Game 4, but he got his double-double on the glass in this one. Tatum has shot at least 50 percent in the Celtics’ three wins during this series and below 50 percent in the two losses. If they want to close this series out in Game 6 on Thursday, Tatum will have to shoot the ball better than he did in this game.
  • PHI Forward #8
Paul George finished with 16 points (6-of-13 FGs), nine rebounds, seven assists, two steals and four three-pointers against the Celtics on Tuesday.
George hasn’t had a big scoring night in this series, but he has been a consistent contributor on offense. That continued in this game, as he provided a well-rounded line in the win. George has been productive since returning from a 25-game suspension, and he has been able to impact the game on both ends of the floor, despite being past the point of his career where he needs to lead the team in scoring. The 76ers will need him to continue to play like this in Game 6 on Thursday.
