Cade Cunningham finished Friday’s Game 6 win over the Magic with 32 points (10-of-23 FGs, 10-of-12 FTs), 10 rebounds, three assists, four steals, one block and two three-pointers.
Despite trailing by as much as 24, Cunningham and the Pistons rallied to force a decisive Game 7 on Sunday. And as one would expect, the Pistons’ point guard was at his best when his team needed him most. Cunningham scored 19 points in the fourth quarter, which equaled Orlando’s tally for the entire second half. Over the last two games, both Pistons victories, Cunningham has totaled 77 points. Given the offensive challenges that Detroit faces, they’ll need another elite effort from their star on Sunday.
