Due to right Achilles injury management, Murray is likely to miss one of New Orleans’ next two games due to the back-to-back. If he plays against the Pistons, fantasy managers should plan for the likelihood that he’ll sit the following night in Toronto. Yves Missi has been Murray’s replacement in the past. Still, with Trey Murphy (ankle) also questionable, Jeremiah Fears likely takes on a more prominent role if Murray and Murphy sit.

Trey Murphy (ankle) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Pistons.

Murphy is dealing with a sprained right ankle, casting some doubt on his availability for Thursday’s game. If he’s unable to go, Yves Missi could be the replacement in the starting lineup, which would push Zion Williamson back to his usual power forward role.

Zion Williamson led the Pelicans with 22 points (8-of-10 FGs), four rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block against the Knicks on Tuesday.

Williamson was able to lead the team in scoring once again, and he has now shot at least 70 percent from the floor in six straight games. Unfortunately, he hasn’t been as productive in other categories, which has limited his impact in category leagues. Still, he continues to play games, which is a huge development for him; he has only missed one game since returning from a six-game absence on Dec. 14. He’ll continue to pour in the efficient buckets with three more games on the schedule this week.

Jeremiah Fears provided a boost off the bench with 21 points (9-of-12 FGs), one rebound, three assists, two steals and three three-pointers against the Knicks on Tuesday.

Fears has been coming off the bench since January, which has limited his impact. This was his third 20-point game since then, and it ended up being his highest field goal percentage in a game this year. The rookie has plenty of upside, so a performance like this is great to see. Fears isn’t a strong option in redraft formats, but he is incredibly valuable in dynasty leagues.
Dejounte Murray

Dejounte Murray struggled with his shot on Tuesday but still contributed seven points (2-of-12 FGs), five rebounds, 12 assists, one steal and one three-pointer against the Knicks.

Murray had a rough shooting night in the loss, which led to a new season low for scoring. However, he set a new season high for assists and has averaged 10.7 dimes per game over his last three appearances. Murray has helped New Orleans get some wins late in the year after a rough start and has helped fantasy managers during the process. They have a back-to-back coming up on Thursday and Friday; expect Murray to sit one of those games.
Saddiq Bey

Saddiq Bey produced 19 points (6-of-14 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), five rebounds, four assists and four three-pointers in Saturday’s loss to the Cavaliers.

Bey finished one point shy of a fourth straight with 20 or more, but most fantasy managers will take the final line that he did provide. Since the All-Star break, he has provided sixth-round value in eight-cat formats. Fantasy managers seeking scoring for Week 22 could do a lot worse than Bey, who is rostered in 44 percent of Yahoo! leagues and has four games on the schedule.
Zion Williamson

Zion Williamson accounted for 25 points (10-of-14 FGs, 5-of-9 FTs), six rebounds, three assists and one steal in Saturday’s loss to the Cavaliers.

Williamson had another efficient night shooting the basketball, making over 70 percent of his attempts from the field. The rebounds and assists were solid, but fantasy managers will have hoped to get more from Zion defensively. The Pelicans play four games in Week 22, starting with the Knicks on Tuesday.
Dejounte Murray

Dejounte Murray (Achilles) is absent from the injury report for Saturday’s game against the Cavaliers.

Murray is back after sitting out Thursday’s win over the Clippers, which was the second game in as many nights for the Pelicans. His return means that Yves Missi will head to the bench after starting the last time out.
Trey Murphy

Trey Murphy led the Pelicans with 27 points (9-of-17 FGs), five rebounds, two assists, one steal and five three-pointers in a 105-99 win over the Clippers on Thursday.

Murphy stayed hot in this game and just scored 50 points in 24 hours against the Clippers, which helped push this winning streak to three games. He has been fantastic all season, though it has looked a little prettier lately with the performances leading to wins. The Pelicans have enjoyed a lot of success recently and will look to stay hot against the Cavaliers on Saturday to wrap up the week.
Yves Missi

Yves Missi started on Thursday and contributed 11 points (5-of-5 FGs), 11 rebounds, four assists and one block against the Clippers.

With Dejounte Murray (Achilles) sidelined for the second night of this back-to-back, Missi got the starting nod. He took advantage of the opportunity by recording his first double-double since January and just his fourth of the season. Missi’s role has been too inconsistent for him to be worth rostering, but he is still capable of contributing when he gets the opportunity. The Pelicans have two more back-to-backs this season, so Missi could get two more starts.
