The Minnesota Timberwolves are still struggling with coach Tom Thibodeau’s defensive schemes. That doesn’t have much to do with what happened on Tuesday night, however. This one was just plain old-fashioned laziness in transition.
That’s what helped Phoenix Suns PG Eric Bledsoe throw a halfcourt alley-oop to rookie Marquese Chriss for the reverse slam.

The Timberwolves aren’t a great team defending in transition -- they’re ranked in the bottom half of the league in terms of points per-play allowed -- and they’re a lower third team in defensive efficiency.
But this is just not putting a body on a body.
Nice dunk, Marquese.
