Snowstorms have postponed tonight’s Knicks-Kings and Nets-Trail Blazers games.

NBA release:

The National Basketball Association games scheduled for this evening in the New York area have been postponed due to the expected severe weather conditions.

The Sacramento Kings at New York Knicks game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 3 at 7 p.m. at Madison Square Garden. The Portland Trail Blazers at Brooklyn Nets game has been rescheduled for Monday, April 6 at 7 p.m. at Barclays Center.

Here are the updated relevant portions of the schedules for each team:

Knicks

  • Feb. 28: vs. Raptors
  • March 3: vs. Kings
  • March 4: at Pacers
  • March 7: vs. Pacers

Kings

  • March 1: vs. Trail Blazers
  • March 3: at Knicks
  • March 4: at Spurs
  • March 6: at Magic
  • March 7: at Heat
  • March 9: at Hawks
  • March 11: at Hornets
  • March 13: at 76ers
  • March 14: at Wizards
  • March 16: vs. Hawks

Nets

  • April 4: at Hawks
  • April 6: vs. Trail Blazers
  • April 8: vs. Hawks

Trail Blazers

  • April 4: vs. Pelicans
  • April 6: at Nets
  • April 8: vs. Timberwolves

Sacramento now faces a daunting 9-game, 14-city stretch. Portland has to fly across country for a single game and then back. New York has an extra back-to-back, and Brooklyn comes out unscathed.

There is no ideal way to make up games featuring teams on opposite coasts, but the NBA seemingly did it with as little impact as possible – which is to say a decent amount of impact.
