As the Thunder go into possibly Kevin Durant’s final season in Oklahoma City, they’re looking to improve the roster in any way possible. They have the 14th pick in Thursday’s draft, which should land them an impact player. But Sports Illustrated‘s Chris Mannix reports that they’re also shopping some of their role players looking for either another pick or salary relief:
OKC has shopped Perry Jones, Jeremy Lamb and Steve Novak the last few days, per league sources. Financially motivated, but looking for pick.

Jones was the Thunder’s own 28th pick in the 2012 draft. Lamb was the 12th pick in that same draft, one of the pieces the Rockets sent over to OKC in the James Harden trade. Novak was a throw-in in this year’s deadline deal that landed the Thunder Enes Kanter. All three players are relatively cheap and relatively inessential, but it’s hard to see any of them fetching more than a second-round pick in return.
