It’s Tuesday and tonight’s NBA slate features just one game. After yesterday’s craziness, maybe that’s welcome. Dallas hosts the Clippers, so at least it should be a good one. Kristaps Porzingis has a chance to return tonight, so keep an eye on that news, while Paul George has been ruled out again. Tonight’s slate tips at 8:30 pm EST.
Landry Shamet, LA Clippers ($6500 FD, $3000 DK)
Shamet could be key to fitting the players you really want tonight. He didn’t play in the first meeting with Dallas, but has generally been seeing between 25-30 MPG. His output is wildly variable, but over the last three games, he’s been hitting value with double-digit scoring and solid rebounding.
Seth Curry, Dallas Mavericks ($7500 FD, $4000 DK)
Curry has been a nice option off the bench for the Mavericks lately. He’s posted 16 and 21 points in his last two games, on the strength of eight three-pointers. His efficiency isn’t great, and neither are his peripherals, but at this salary, if he sees 26-29 minutes again tonight, he should be a valuable part of your lineup. A close and high scoring game, as Vegas has this one, is ideal for a high volume shooter like Curry.

Maxi Kleber, Dallas Mavericks ($9500 FD, $6000 DK)
If Porzingis is back tonight, even on a minutes restriction, I’m not touching Kleber. But if not, Kleber is likely to remain a steady contributor to fantasy lineups. He has three three-block games in his last five and has scored in the double-digits in each of his last four games. With decent rebounding and upside if he scores more (and gets to the line more), he’s a fine low-mid range option for this showdown slate.
Patrick Beverley, LA Clippers ($11,000 FD, $6600 DK)
You didn’t think I’d miss a chance to pump up Beverley? He’s been fantastic lately, particularly on the boards and in transition. Points are always the sticking point with Beverley, and he’s only averaging 9-10 PPG over the 2-3 weeks or so. Yet he converted about 30 fantasy points per game in that span. He’s an easy piece to help you fit Kawhi Leonard (my favorite play) and/or Luka Doncic.
