This article aims to highlight some of the alternative plays at each position for tonight’s main NBA slate. These are some potentially lower-owned, higher risk/reward options for use in large field GPPs. Keep in mind that the following player write-ups were constructed earlier in the day, and sometimes injury/rest situations can alter the fantasy landscape. Monitoring our NBA News & Headlines Feed throughout the day will keep you in the loop. Tonight’s mains slate includes all four games starting at 4:05 ET.
POINT GUARD
Goran Dragic- Miami (at Oklahoma City) – Yahoo: $21, DK: $5300, FD: $5500
I feel like the most popular point guard options tonight will be Kyle Lowry, Malcolm Brogdon, Aaron Holiday (our top fantasy point per dollar projected PG tonight), and perhaps Chris Paul. Dragic almost always flies under the radar for DFS, but tonight he’s affordable and playing in a game with a high point total against a faster-paced opponent. Dragic played 30 minutes and posted more than a fantasy point per minute in his first game back from an ankle sprain.

SHOOTING GUARD
Paul George – LA Clippers (at Denver) – Yahoo: $36, DK: $8400, FD: $7500
George, often abbreviated by his initials and number as PG13, is rated C for consistency in the NBA bubble. He’s got the benefit of a couple extra days’ rest and should be in perfect form tonight. With almost everyone paying up for James Harden at SG tonight, I do think George is an afterthought. His low FanDuel salary and the fact that you have to use two SG on that site means that his ownership will be higher there, but I’m confident he’ll be more contrarian on the other sites tonight.

SMALL FORWARD
Tobias Harris – Philadelphia (vs. Toronto) – Yahoo: $32, DK: $8000, FD: $7400
I waited as long as I could, but Harris is still not confirmed for tonight. He was out with other starters yesterday, but was expected to play tonight in what could be an exciting game with the Raptors. Philadelphia is the better rebounding team, a stat that Harris is capable of racking up. Against the Raptors this season, Harris averages 22 points and almost six rebounds per game. His uncertain status will probably keep his ownership low, so although he’s a gamble, it’s one I’m comfortable taking in a couple large field GPPs.

POWER FORWARD
Jeff Green – Houston (vs. Indiana) – Yahoo: $12, DK: $4400(C), FD: $4000
The RotoWorld NBA Optimizer loves JaMychal Green tonight, but the other Green catches my eye. Not only is he an excellent bargain on all three sites, he’s been playing plenty of minutes off the bench, so I’m fine with him not starting here (if Danuel House Jr. is back). Indiana isn’t a good rebounding team, and Green, along with Robert Covington and even DeMarre Carroll should all take advantage.

CENTER
Miles Turner — Indiana (at Houston) – Yahoo: $20, DK: $6600, FD: $6000
With plenty of value tonight, people will probably tend to pay up for Nikola Jokic or chase points with cheap Kyle O’Quinn (although I wouldn’t with Joel Embiid back and starting tonight). Turner is the perfect mid-range alternative, especially considering that the Rockets have the same low rebounding rate as Indiana themselves. Overall, Houston is the best matchup on the slate, giving up the seventh-most fantasy points to opponents. Turner himself is questionable and it’s possible that his sore neck has limited him in the last two games. Keep an eye out for his status closer to lock.
