There was plenty of excitement in just four games on Thursday night. Stephen Curry‘s magnificence continued, Luka Dončić outdueled Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant in a shootout, a sick Ja Morant led Memphis past Sacramento and the Thunder beat the Clippers again. Do the Thunder only care to beat the Clippers because they have their pick? Is OKC capable of picking and choosing which games they win and lose? Could they go 82-0 if they wanted to? These are the questions that need answering, but below are the players that aren’t heavily rostered that you should consider picking up.
Norman Powell- 42% rostered in Yahoo! leagues
After his atrocious start to the season, Powell has been one of the most dropped players in fantasy hoops. On Thursday, he scored 21 points on 9-for-15 shooting to break out of his slump. He had been a top-100 fantasy asset for three straight seasons prior to this year. If he is truly back to shooting the way we know he can, he’s a must-add if he’s available in your league.
Tre Mann- 35%
Mann has been the starter for the Thunder with Josh Giddey sidelined and has made the most of his opportunity. Mann should be considered a must-add as long as Giddey is out, but he proved that he can be valuable after Giddey returns in their game Thursday night. Following a 25-point game on Tuesday, Mann scored 14 points to go with two steals and four 3-pointers in 22 minutes on Thursday. His workload will look more like it did on Thursday when Giddey is in the lineup, but Mann showed his value in the limited action.
Aleksej Pokuševski- 21%
Poku seems to be one of the more volatile performers in the NBA. He was excellent on Thursday night after a few poor performances in a row. If he was dropped in a deeper league, he’s definitely worth a pickup. In standard leagues, he may be riskier, but it’s easier to get him now than in a few weeks if he keeps this up. In OKC, he’ll always get an opportunity.
Aaron Wiggins- 6%
Wiggins has started the past two games for the Thunder. After a double-double in their last game, he had 11 points, three 3-pointers and three steals in this game. He seems to have established himself as a starter and should be seen as a solid option as long as that continues.
Malik Monk- 18%
After struggling in his first two games as a King, Monk has figured it out in the last two. He’s averaged 15.5 points, 7.5 assists and 3.5 triples over the last two games, and Kevin Huerter injured his wrist in this game. Monk should be valuable whether or not Huerter is in the lineup, but if Huerter misses time, Monk should be considered a must-add.
Royce O’Neale- 48%
O’Neale is somehow still available in over half of leagues despite playing a ton of minutes for Brooklyn. He has 11 triples, six blocks and nine steals through five games and should provide all three fairly consistently this season.

Jake LaRavia- 1%
Finished with 13 points, nine rebounds and three 3-pointers with John Koncher sidelined. When Konchar is healthy, LaRavia likely won’t play 30 minutes, but he’s showing his value as a dynasty asset.
Tyus Jones- 28%
Jones has scored in double figures in all but one game this season. He’s worth a look in deeper leagues, and if Ja Morant misses any games, make sure you snag him off the waiver wire.
