T.J. Warren starting to carve out consistent role for Brooklyn

T.J. Warren

T.J. Warren

Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

Monday’s seven game slate featured some exciting matchups. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving each scored 32 points to withstand Darius Garland‘s 46-point night. Houston’s trio of Jalen Green, Kevin Porter Jr. and Alperen Şengün combined for 85 points against the Bulls. The Clippers outscored Detroit 16-2 over the final 3:34 of regulation to force overtime and secure the win. And the Pelicans blew out the Pacers without Zion Williamson or Brandon Ingram. As always, it was a fun night in the association, and here are the fantasy targets based on the games.

T.J. Warren- 14% rostered on Yahoo!

Warren is really starting to come alive for Brooklyn. After scoring 12 points with two triples in each of their last two games, he set new season-highs of 23 points and eight rebounds while adding two triples and two steals. He played a season-high 27 minutes with Joe Harris and Seth Curry out of the lineup. He has provided top-50 value over the past week, and he should continue to have a big role for the Nets.

Austin Rivers- 6%

Over the past two weeks, Rivers has provided top-75 value as a starter. He played 32 minutes on Monday and provided a 10/5/4 line. Kyle Anderson may return soon, but as long as Rivers is the starter, he should be a safe streaming option.

Naz Reid- 24%

After not playing much in his first game off the bench, Reid has been far more productive over the last two. He provided a 21/11 double-double in 29 minutes off the bench on Monday. He won’t be the super streaming option that he was when Rudy Gobert was out, but he should continue to post solid numbers.

Victor Oladipo- 20%

Over his last five games, Oladipo has 13 steals and 18 deflections. His offensive production is dependent on who is available to play for the Heat, but with how many injuries they’ve faced this season, he’ll be relied on to score often. Regardless, he can be a steal specialist with upside in other categories.

Malaki Branham- 1%

A week after setting a career-high of 14 points, Brahnam set a new career-high of 20 on Monday. He has provided top-150 value over the last two weeks, so he won’t provide much value in standard leagues, but he’s playing well and should get the opportunity on a bad San Antonio team.

Keon Johnson- less than 1%

With Justise Winslow ruled out for at least two weeks, Johnson played 18 minutes off the bench, while Shaedon Sharpe only played seven. He didn’t post great numbers (8/1/1/2/1), but he should be the main beneficiary of Winslow’s absence.
