Tobias Harris has agreed to a two-year, $31 million contract with the Spurs, reports ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Harris, a 15-year NBA veteran, did a lot of good things for the Pistons in his latest two-year stint with the team. He was a starter on the court and a positive influence off the court for a young team with NBA Finals aspirations. Sound familiar? Harris, who turns 34 later this month, is slated for a similar role with the Spurs. Fantasy expectations should still remain low for Harris.
Unpacking the noise around Brown's trade to Philly
Dan Le Batard and Co. share their reactions to the Celtics dealing Jaylen Brown to the 76ers for Paul George and the noise around the deal that felt more "addition by subtraction" for Boston.

Ace Bailey (back) finished with 10 points (4-of-8 FGs), six rebounds, one steal and one block against the Hawks on Saturday.

Bailey looked good in 20 minutes, but he exited early due to right back spasms. In a meaningless exhibition, this could’ve just been precautionary, though it is worth monitoring in the coming weeks since it could impact his availability for the remainder of summer league. Bailey was named to the All-Rookie Second Team last year, but the addition of Darryn Peterson in the draft means he’ll be fighting for a spot in the starting lineup this year.

Nick Boyd finished with 11 points (2-of-10 FGs), one rebound, three assists, two steals and one three-pointer in a 97-83 loss to the Bucks on Saturday.

Boyd went undrafted last month and earned a training camp contract from Golden State. There is no guarantee that he ends up making the final roster, but he had some solid moments in this game, even if the final result was a rough shooting night. As an older rookie, he shouldn’t be on any fantasy radars outside of the deepest dynasty leagues.

Brandon Boston Jr. provided a boost off the bench with 17 points (6-of-10 FGs), three rebounds, two assists, two steals and one three-pointer against the Warriors on Saturday.

The 2021 second-round pick had a solid NBA run but ended up playing in Turkey last season. Now, he’s attempting to make an NBA comeback. With his experience, it isn’t surprising that Boston was productive in this game, but he has a lot more work to do to earn a contract for the upcoming season.

Cormac Ryan finished with 13 points (3-of-8 FGs) and two three-pointers against the Warriors on Saturday.

Ryan made his NBA debut in March and ended up having some strong performances in April to close out last season. The Bucks added a lot of talent in the deal that sent Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Heat, which will make it difficult for Ryan to earn a rotation role this season, especially since the Bucks shouldn’t be tanking again due to the new lottery system.

Rafael Castro contributed four points (2-of-2 FGs), six rebounds, one assist, four steals and one block against the Warriors on Saturday.

Milwaukee added Castro on a two-way contract after he went undrafted last month. The big man out of George Washington didn’t do much scoring, but he was able to make an impact on the defensive end. It will be difficult for him to carve out a role in Milwaukee this season, but if he does, he’s more than capable of providing value in multiple numbers, which should play well in fantasy basketball.

Bogoljub Marković finished with 16 points (8-of-12 FGs), six rebounds, three assists and one steal in a 97-83 win over the Warriors on Saturday.

The Bucks selected Marković with the 47th pick last summer but stashed him overseas for a season. He appeared in five summer league games, so this wasn’t his first time putting on a jersey for the Bucks, but it was encouraging to see his growth ahead of his first NBA season. Marković has a chance to be a rotation player for Milwaukee this season.

Brooks Barnhizer led the Thunder with 13 points (6-of-12 FGs), six rebounds, one assist and one three-pointer against the Grizzlies on Saturday.

A second-round pick for OKC last season, Barnhizer was productive despite the lopsided loss to start summer league this year. He’s a gritty player that led the way on offense for the Thunder, though it wasn’t enough to keep the game close. Barnhizer is on a two-way deal, so he will likely spend most of his team in the G League again this season.

Aday Mara contributed 10 points (5-of-8 FGs), three rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in a 111-74 loss to the Grizzlies on Saturday.

Both Mara’s strengths and weaknesses were on full display in this game. He made plays on defense, passed well and finished at the rim, but for a player his size, he’s a subpar rebounder. Still, despite the lopsided score, Mara’s performance was encouraging, and he should be in the rotation down low for OKC in year one. However, his role will likely be too limited for him to be a consistent producer in fantasy basketball.

Bennett Stirtz finished with 10 points (3-of-6 FGs), three rebounds, four assists, three steals and two three-pointers against the Grizzlies on Saturday.

Stirtz didn’t have a standout debut for OKC, but he had some fun flashes and showcased why the Thunder traded up to get him. As an older rookie, he should be ready to contribute from day one as a shooter and playmaker, and he was also able to force some turnovers in the loss. Stirtz won’t pop in fantasy in year one, but he should be a reliable ball handler for them at times.

Jahmai Mashack provided a boost off the bench with 12 points (4-of-6 FGs), two rebounds, four assists, one steal, two blocks and one three-pointer against the Thunder on Saturday.

Mashack is known for his defense and was a strong source of steals at times last season, though he was able to provide far more than just swipes in this game. If he is able to carve out a spot in the Grizzlies rotation at times this season, it will be because of his defense. However, seeing an ability to contribute in other areas is certainly encouraging.
