Brayden Burries accounted for 27 points (9-of-18 FGs, 5-of-7 FTs), four rebounds, five assists, one steal and one blocked shot in Saturday’s win over the 76ers.

While he missed all four of his three-point attempts, Burries finished his summer with another excellent showing. The tenth overall pick in last month’s draft was Milwaukee’s best player in Las Vegas and has the look of a player who should compete for rotation minutes immediately. Whether he was on the ball or off it, Burries made things happen offensively, and his defense was solid as well. With the Bucks paying Gary Trent Jr. $64 million and adding Tyler Herro and Kasparas Jakučionis in the Giannis trade while also having Kevin Porter Jr. and Ryan Rollins, the backcourt projects to be crowded next season. However, good luck keeping Burries off the floor, given how well he played this summer.

Brayden Burries accumulated 23 points (8-of-15 FGs, 3-of-7 FTs), eight rebounds, six assists, four steals, one block and three three-pointers in Monday’s loss to the Suns.

Playing against college teammate Koa Peat for the first time as pros, Burries recorded his second 20-point game in as many nights. The former Arizona guard was efficient as a scorer and playmaker, committing just one turnover. If there was an issue for Burries, it was that he went 3-of-7 from the foul line, but that was not an issue for him at the college level. His play in Las Vegas has been encouraging for both the Bucks and fantasy managers considering Burries in their drafts. Milwaukee’s perimeter logjam may make it challenging for Burries to log heavy minutes as a rookie, but getting into the rotation is certainly a reasonable expectation.

Brayden Burries finished Friday’s loss to the Heat with 18 points (6-of-15 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), three rebounds, three assists and one three-pointer.

After playing in just one of Milwaukee’s three California Classic games, Burries should see a lot more playing time in Las Vegas. The former Arizona guard struggled with his shot on Friday, but it did not diminish his aggressiveness as a scorer. Even with the Bucks adding Tyler Herro in the Giannis Antetokounmpo trade and still having Ryan Rollins and Kevin Porter Jr., there will still be opportunities for Burries to prove himself during the regular season. The fantasy outlook isn’t great in redraft leagues, but he’ll remain valuable in dynasty formats.

Brayden Burries tallied 12 points (3-of-8 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), two rebounds, one assist and one three-pointer in Monday’s loss to the Kings.

After sitting out the Bucks’ first two games at the California Classic, Burries played his first meaningful basketball since the Final Four in April on Monday. He’s a better shooter than he showed against the Kings, but that can be attributed to rust. Burries will get more opportunities to show what he can do in Las Vegas, starting with the Heat on July 10. Along with fellow first-round pick Nate Ament, who did not play in California, Burries should have every opportunity to earn rotation minutes as a rookie.

Bucks selected Brayden Burries with the No. 10 pick in the NBA Draft.

A five-star recruit, the 6-foot-4 Burries spent one season at Arizona before turning pro. As part of a team that took the Wildcats to the Final Four for the first time since 2001, he averaged 16.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.8 three-pointers while shooting 49.1 percent from the field, 39.1 percent from three and 80.5 percent from the foul line. A first-team All-Big 12 selection, Burries is an effective scorer on all three levels and defends his position well. In addition to his scoring ability, he is an excellent perimeter defender. With Milwaukee embarking on a new era after the Giannis Antetokounmpo trade, he will be a key building block for the franchise.

Coward was, again, one of Memphis’ top performers on Sunday. He struggled inside the arc but was lethal from beyond it, draining all five of his three-point attempts before finishing tied for a team-high 19 points. The second-year guard also fared well on the glass and as a facilitator in the loss. If he can increase his three-point efficiency and take a step forward as a passer, he should be in for a good sophomore season as it pertains to fantasy basketball.

Boozer bounced back from a rough shooting performance to tie a team high in points on Sunday. He drained three triples and was solid on the boards, yet again. The No. 3 overall pick had a strong summer overall and is in line to be one of Memphis’ featured players this upcoming season. He’s got a lot of room for growth and development, but should still be a reliable contributor in fantasy leagues as a rookie.

Cryer remains on a two-way contract at the moment, but even if he earns a full roster spot, he’s unlikely to have a noteworthy impact in fantasy leagues this season.

The double-double he tallied along the way was enough to earn the Most Valuable Player award. Lendenborg, the 11th pick of the 2026 NBA Draft, has now won two championships this calendar year. His contributions to winning and a strong summer showing overall could make him an interesting player this upcoming fantasy basketball season.

Nembhard carved out a role for himself on Dallas last season after going undrafted and proved he could be a reliable table-setter. Atlanta brought back CJ McCollum, drafted Kingston Flemings and traded for Devin Carter, so Nembhard will likely be competing with Carter for a few minutes off the bench in the backcourt. However, if injuries pop up, Nembhard will be able to fill in temporarily and provide plenty of assists.

Thunder GM Sam Presti continues to restructure his roster, and instead of declining Dort’s team option, he has found a new home for him in Atlanta. Dort will be another strong defender for Atlanta, alongside Dyson Daniels, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Kingston Flemings on the perimeter. Dort will have a chance to fill in as a starter on the wing, though he should at least play a significant role off the bench.

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports Zaccharie Risacher has been traded to the Mavericks in a deal that sends Luguentz Dort and Ryan Nembhard to the Hawks and three second-round picks to the Thunder.

The former No. 1 overall pick wasn’t able to figure things out in Atlanta, but he’ll get a fresh start in Dallas. With Masai Ujiri and Mike Schmitz running the show for the Mavs, they have rebuilt this roster around Cooper Flagg by adding multiple new players in the frontcourt, including Risacher, Santi Aldama and Morez Johnson. Risacher’s role will likely be limited off the bench to start his tenure with Dallas, though a fresh start on a rebuilding team could yield him the opportunity to develop into the player the Hawks hoped he would become. The three second-round picks heading to OKC are Chicago’s 2027 pick from Dallas and most favorable picks in 2031 and 2032 from Atlanta.

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that the Mavericks have matched the two-year, $4.7 million offer sheet that Moussa Cissé signed with the Knicks.

With the Knicks and Cissé agreeing to an offer sheet on Saturday afternoon, the Mavericks had until Monday to decide whether they would match it. Dallas didn’t even wait until the end of Saturday to match the offer, which gets the 6-foot-11 center a two-year guaranteed contract. Cissé had his moments as a rookie, most notably grabbing 20 rebounds in the Mavericks’ season finale. The Mavericks have solid depth at center, but holding onto Cissé gives them a needed insurance policy after Daniel Gafford and Dereck Lively II struggled with injuries last season.

He isn’t a player who must be selected in drafts, but it would be unsurprising if Thiero found a role within JJ Redick’s rotation.
