Josh Giddey (ankle) will not be restricted during training camp.

Giddey, who underwent right ankle surgery in May, was cleared to play 5-on-5 in early September. He’ll be able to practice without any restrictions when the Bulls open training camp on Tuesday. When available, Giddey offered excellent fantasy value last season, especially in assists. With Norman Powell, Caleb Wilson and Nic Claxton among the newcomers, Giddey could crack double digits in that category after averaging a career-best 9.1 assists per game last season.

Isaiah Joe (hip) is out for Tuesday’s game against the Knicks.

Joe landed hard on his right hip during Sunday’s win over the 76ers and did not return to action. His absence on Tuesday won’t affect fantasy basketball, as Ausar Thompson (ankle) is available.

Jaxson Hayes (shoulder) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Spurs.

Due to a sore right shoulder, Hayes did not play in Monday’s loss to the Grizzlies. If he can play on Wednesday, Hayes could start, as Jaren Jackson Jr. (knee) is out for 6-8 weeks. If Hayes can’t play, the Jazz would have to rely even more on Mo Bamba and Kyle Filipowski.

Nolan Traoré, Egor Dëmin, Michael Porter Jr., Julius Randle and Day’Ron Sharpe will start Tuesday’s game against the Celtics.

One game removed from recording 17 points and five assists, Traoré has been rewarded with his first start of the season. He replaces Keon Ellis, who will come off the bench. The change also means that Dëmin will spend more time off the ball, which could help him get going after a slow start to the season.

Derrick White (hip) is available for Tuesday’s game against the Nets.

White was initially listed as probable for Tuesday’s game, so the status upgrade was expected. He’ll fill his usual spot in the Celtics’ starting lineup.

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that Anthony Edwards (knee) will undergo arthroscopic surgery and will miss up to two months.

So much for Edwards being listed as questionable on the Timberwolves’ initial injury report for Wednesday’s game against the Warriors. He’ll reportedly need to undergo an arthroscopic procedure on his right knee and could miss up to two months. While the timeline isn’t guaranteed, fantasy managers can stash Edwards on the IL until he’s cleared to return. As alternatives, Ayo Dosunmu and Terrence Shannon Jr. should see more opportunities, and starters Jaden McDaniels and Jonathan Kuminga should too.

Spencer Jones (hamstring) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Pelicans.

Jones hasn’t played this season, and his absence has factored into rookie Trevon Brazile getting consistent rotation minutes. While he isn’t a must-roster player in redraft leagues, Brazile has played well enough to merit remaining in the rotation once the Nuggets are whole.

Cameron Johnson (ankle) is doubtful for Wednesday’s game against the Pelicans.

Johnson has missed Denver’s last two games and will likely miss a third. If he remains out, Bryce Hopkins should get another start.

Alpha Diallo (personal reasons) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Pelicans.

The good news is that the Nuggets are no longer listing a sprained right wrist as the reason why Diallo won’t play. However, he remains away from the team for personal reasons. With Cameron Johnson (ankle) doubtful, Bryce Hopkins is likely to get a third consecutive start.

Caleb Martin (thumb) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Thunder.

Martin hasn’t appeared in a game this season yet. However, if he is available on Wednesday, the Mavericks’ many injuries could thrust him into the rotation immediately. That wouldn’t be enough to make Martin a player worth rostering in fantasy leagues.
