Zuby Ejiofor accounted for 15 points (5-of-9 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), nine rebounds, three assists, one block and one three-pointer in Monday’s exhibition against the Thunder.

The Hawks didn’t play Onyeka Okongwu on Monday, so the available big men moved up a spot in the rotation. Ejiofor, the 23rd overall pick in June’s draft, finished one rebound shy of a double-double in 23 minutes. With Jock Landale in the fold, Ejiofor is in line to be the third center, but there may be some minutes available at the four, depending on the matchup. For now, he’s more valuable in dynasty leagues than redraft leagues.

Jrue Holiday provided a boost off the bench with 17 points (7-of-11 FGs), eight rebounds, 10 assists, one steal, one block and three three-pointers against the Nuggets on Monday.

Holiday didn’t step into the starting unit when Ja Morant (hamstring) went down, but he did step up off the bench in this game. He fell shy of the triple-double, but he did set season highs for both rebounds and assists in the win. Portland is now 5-1 this season, and Holiday has been a big part of their early success. He should continue to see a boost in production off the bench until Morant returns.

Donovan Clingan recorded a double-double on Monday with 17 points (8-of-16 FGs), 18 rebounds, three assists, four blocks and one three-pointer in a 118-110 win over the Nuggets.

After having his worst performance of the season in Utah on Saturday, Clingan responded with a monster outing. He set season highs for both points and rebounds in what ended up being his first double-double of the season. It has been a disappointing start to the year for Clingan, mostly because his minutes have been down. He surpassed 30 minutes for the first time this season and immediately dominated. Hopefully that’s a trend that continues, though that may require specific matchups. Their next game against the Suns on Wednesday probably isn’t the ideal scenario for Clingan to play a ton.

Deni Avdija led the Trail Blazers with 28 points (10-of-22 FGs, 6-of-9 FTs), three rebounds, five assists and two three-pointers against the Nuggets on Monday.

Avdija stayed hot in this one, and he has now scored at least 20 points in five straight games after being held to 18 points in the season opener. Most of his numbers this season are similar to last year, though his assists are slightly down. The main drop off has been his free throw percentage. After shooting 80.2 percent last year, he’s at 66.7 percent so far this season. If that improves, his overall fantasy value should jump back up.

Draymond Green was ejected from Monday’s game against the Suns with 10 minutes left in the third quarter.

Green picked up two technical fouls early in the third quarter. After Suns center Khaman Maluach bumped him, Green got up, wrapped up Maluach, and threw him to the ground. The second technical was assessed when Green got into it with Dillon Brooks, who also received a technical foul. Green (4/4/2/1) was replaced in the lineup by Charles Bassey.

Victor Wembanyama had 12 points (5-of-15 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), 11 rebounds, five assists, one steal and three blocks against the Jazz on Monday.

Wembanyama had a quieter offensive night after scoring at least 29 points in each of his last three games entering play Monday. Still, Wemby filled up the box score other than missing all five of his three-point attempts. The 22-year-old center is still in for a monster week with three more games, starting with a matchup against the Mavericks at home Wednesday.

Dylan Harper had 17 points (6-of-10 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), seven rebounds, eight assists, two steals and one three-pointer in the Spurs’ 119-97 victory over the Jazz on Monday.

Harper was excellent in the win over the Jazz, leading the Spurs in points and minutes. The 20-year-old point guard was three rebounds and two assists shy of a triple-double. Harper made the play of the game midway through the third quarter when he grabbed a steal on one end and threw an alley-oop to Stephon Castle on the other.

Jordan Goodwin (calf) will not return to Monday’s game against the Warriors.

Goodwin played 10 first-half minutes off the bench before exiting with a right calf injury. His absence likely means Ryan Dunn will pick up additional minutes off the bench.

Isaiah Stewart finished with 14 points (6-of-10 FGs), five rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two three-pointers in Monday’s game against the Pelicans.

With Zach Edey in foul trouble and Quinten Post sidelined with an ankle injury, Stewart ended up playing just under 28 minutes in this game. Beef Stew has averaged 18.7 points per game over their last three while hitting two shots from beyond the arc in each. He has been an incredible addition for Memphis this season and has been a big part of their early-season success. However, the fantasy production will be inconsistent, even if he has been hot as of late.

Ty Jerome led the Grizzlies with 40 points (14-of-22 FGs), five rebounds, five assists, two steals and five three-pointers in a 135-134 overtime loss to the Pelicans on Monday.

Jerome returned to the lineup after missing Saturday’s game against the Kings with a back issue. He also popped up on the injury report with the back injury ahead of Thursday’s game, and while he played through it, he struggled mightily. It doesn’t appear that it’s bothering him anymore. Jerome had his second 40-point game of the season, and while it wasn’t enough to keep Memphis’ winning streak alive, it was still another monster performance for Jerome, who should continue to produce at a high level for fantasy managers for the rest of the season.

Cam Spencer provided a boost off the bench with 13 points (4-of-7 FGs), one rebound, seven assists and two three-pointers on Monday against the Pelicans.

After dishing out 13 assists as a starter on Saturday, Spencer returned to his typical reserve role. However, that didn’t stop the dimes from dropping. He now has 28 assists over their last three games, and he matched his season high for scoring in this one. Spencer’s fantasy impact will be capped with Ty Jerome ahead of him, but he can still make an impact in limited action. He should also be streamed in when Jerome is sidelined.
